Hi Mike.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this important community of traders. I am a novice trader who seeks to learn every day of this fascinating way of life, I am sure that this is the best place to learn. For a little more than two years I have a license for life of NINJATRADER, which I consider a wonderful tool that I have not yet fully known, I hope that with your help and that of the other members of this community I will help develop all the potential that Ninja can offer. See you soon.
I am thankful for making me a part of this forum. Like everyone , I also have my share of experiences and thoughts about trading.
The biggest thing required for trading is patience.... to wait for the confirmation of the trade and patience to sit in the trade right ...so that you get out early.
You can only develop this patience if you are not dependent upon your earnings from trading in the initial days...
i am a binary trader for some years.
i join this group to learn how to trade both binary and forex.
i have am in and out of trading for some reasons that is known to you all because of lack of experience and money management. it is painful many time but the will to be experience is there.
i don't give up until i realised my purpose of going on trading.

Thanks Mike for the forum. I'm glad to join here and hope that I will be able to learn as well as exchange ideas with fellow members. I have some limited experience with Harmonic patterns trading and price action strategies.
Hi fellow traders...
Firstly, I thank Mr Big Mike for the establishment of this forum. It is a wonderful experience sharing platform for traders of all levels.
I trade mainly in spot forex... and I am a complete novice in futures trading. I wish to learn from the experience and advice of all forum participants here. Thank you for your kind sharing.
Regards,
Alvin Lee
I started learning to trade the e-mini S&P 500 Futures and the 10, 30 and 5 Yr. Treasury Futures about a year and a half ago. I use Ninja Trader and Peter Davies Jig Saw platform as my tools and have taken the courses and webinars offered by John Grady with No BS Day Trading. I am a long way from where I need to be but without No BS Day Trading, I would still be floundering and quite honestly, would have probably given up. I find trading very challenging and stimulating and that definitely helps overcome the anxiety in taking this on.
Hey! Ahm, I am not really good at presentations because, well.. i don't find people who thinks like me for a long while.
But, well, gonna give it a try...
I've been "interested"(i was in love with the idea) in trading since.. 2002. But well, a lot of things happened and A LOT OF people, especially professors, told me that investment through internet was impossible. (I'm from a 3rd World Country.. so... we discovered the wheel like.. yesterday)
After all that negative data, info and opinions. I decided to "wake up"(there was nobody to tell me that it was possible) so i started Economy & Finance.. wasn't my thing.. i quitted... several time to a couple of carriers...
3 years ago, i had an accident... so i left Marketing(university) and... while i was recovering.... i saw an advertising about binary options... which eventually led me to FX trading again!! and i saw that it was possible! (yey! i guess)
And that wans't all, i saw automated trading, which was my life's dream because i program since i was 14 years old...
Since 2016 i started to read, study, etc.. and, apparently i'm not part of that 5/10% that makes money with trading.
I want to study math, but first i want to get some basic income from trading to have my own life.
I tried Metatrader, cTrader, etc... nothing.. allways blowing the account in the worst market circumstances.
So... I decided to leave FX behind and start with futures. I'm trying NinjaTrader now, to see if more complex tools can help me.
That's it! Kinda long right..? Sorry.
Have a wonderful journey to a successful life!
I am newbie trader from little island called Sri Lanka. started learning forex many years ago, but last couple of years I was out of the market. But now I am back and trying to give my full and see where it will take..lets see..
Fernand, pls allow an old chap (in life and in markets) a few remarks.
In my experience it doesn't matter what you trade as long as you have an edge, means, you have a proven proprietary way to 1. access risk 2. see price structures and exploit them. Whether futures, fx or else, it (nearly) doesn't matter. Also the platforms: they only are valuable in so far as you give them the right input.
If you e.g. have only ONE pattern you trade, or ONE signal you follow, and this pattern or signal as a proven statistical recurrence, it is already enough to make money.
Don't hop around different asset classes like fx, futures etc. Don't hop around different platforms. Find your unique style of trading first. And first of all: learn what risk means. Before reward, there comes the risk.
