This is my current personal computer and trading battlestation. I wanted something functional and aesthetic but also comfortable. Just a few more monitors and then it will really be done!
My brand new office, still a work in progress, I like a clutter free minimalist environment or my brain will be all over the place. To the left we have an old ass VGA screen I still had in my attic on which I used to play Xbox 15yrs ago on, in the middle my i5, to the right a simple refurbished HD screen and to the right of that my sons glow in the dark stars and moon stickers. (this used to be his room) I generally follow 2 instruments intraday at any given time so for now this suffices.
My single Surface Laptop with 4 DOMs on the screen + market grid/position/fills screens on a virtual desktop that I access with a 4 finger swipe won't win any contests!!!!!!
I'm adding 2 Surface Go computers as extra monitors just to log in and run the Market grid/positions/fills screen, and then the other Surface Go as my volatility indicator screen, newsfeed screen, I'm not big on charts.
With the middle Surface Laptop acting as just the Dom computer. It will be connected to the fiber internet, while the 2 Surface Goes will connect to my cable internet via wifi.
It is my pleasure to announce a new challenge event for October 2018: Battlestations!
With this event, we are encouraging members to share pictures of their trading desks. We will be giving away $500 in Amazon Gift Cards for this event, plus …

Update: pointed out something I missed, and then updated the post unmistakably.
I just don't want anyone to miss out due to a minor oversight.
I fully redesigned my desk / room last month. I have been procrastinating this for a while but got some free time from work.
I have a 7 monitor setup, actively trading ES, CL , JY and EC. Another screen to monitor YM, NQ, Gold and 10 Yr. Most of the screens are for developing and testing ideas.
Added a waterfall and Budha. This is really soothing esp when sitting for meditation.
My development server is Dell Optiplex 7060 Micro with 6 core 16G RAM running Linux. I removed the tower and went with this form factor, so far it is holding really well handling mysql and python back-end.
These are some of the gadgets from the past. I dont actively use any, but just regular meditation. I use Muse once in a while. These are from over five years back when I was desperate to control the impulsive behavior by any means possible .
Light and Sound machine, heart rate monitor, Muse, magnets , BP monitor etc .
Hi all, here is my desk...I have my 'new' computer running 6 monitors and my 'old' computer running another one...each can run 8 and would love more, but my desk can't fit any more.
Also yes that IS a punching bag, haha. It comes in handy sometimes!
Don't mind the funky curtains...I thought they'd be interesting, but I think I made a mistake in getting them, LOL.
I realized the pic was kind of dark, so I did one in daylight and while I was at it...a couple of other items I like in my space...a salt lamp that changes color and my 'warrior girl'...a dancing robot (when you wind it up) and I put a sword in her hand! Oh yeah and I love incense.
