For options I would highly recommend the free education at TastyWorks/TastyTrade it's not only free, it happens to be the best material available anywhere at any price. For futures it's a little more difficult as every so called expert teaches their own strategy and methodology. Best advice I can give you is don't pay for anything yet. Learn market profile, basics of technical analysis and reading price action which you can find for here as a premium member and other sites such as babypips.com free education course which is one of the best programs in existence to learn charting and established principles. After you learn all of that, if you find a room or trader you enjoy following; then and only then would I suggest purchasing a course or indicators. If you have a good charting platform(Sierra,TOS, TDAmeritrade TradeStation,NinjaTrader,Merrill edge,E-Trade, TT, MB/Ally etc) you DO NOT need to buy any software, they all include every tool you could possibly need, period! Good luck, stay nimble in your trades
My name is Rick, and I am just getting into futures trading as an income supplement. Using TradeStation but only on "simulated" until I gain a better understanding of the markets and proper techniques. So far I am feeling most comfortable with currencies so may focus on them until I get a bit more experience then expand to commodities. I ordered a new desktop system that is scheduled for delivery so excited to what a faster system with three monitors will be like. Most of all I look forward to learning more from this community and contributing back my own learnings in a small way.

Hello All,
I have been studying trading strategies for ever now. Bought a number of books and courses. I have purchased some systems trading courses and plan to start some new discussions on that.
What I have concluded is that the strategy does matter - but does not supersede Money Management strategy.
I have concluded that trading Eminis match my personality.
I am Mike and I am from Chicago. I have been trading $SPX options for a number of years now. I came over there from trading options on blue chip tickers and before that I traded(mostly shorted) OTC BB penny stocks.
I have been trading futures for about three years now. Mostly /ES, /YM, and /CL which I sometimes hedge by by spreading or covering with options on cash settled indices.
I am primarily a risk trader, diming the market by entering trades before a large move to either side, this gives me me some slippage but the results have been great for the past couple of years.
Hi everyone, my name is Jason and I just joined. I have been trading for a few years and hope to hear about everyone's success and failures. I have a long road ahead of me and understand that time and experience are the best teachers.
I mainly trade CL, and E-mini's. Any and all direction and guidance will be appreciated.
