I'm glad to have joined this forum. Looks amazing and really appreciate the amount of work you guys have put.
Still busy finishing a work project i'm working on but once that's done ill be here trading full time
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Hi, Mike,
Since you asked, I am fine thanks. lol
I'm new. I have no idea what I am doing. I have been downloading some indicators and trying to make sense of them but no great success yet. I seem to be rather slow. I have been trying for quite some time but just can't get my arms psychologically around the trading thing. When I think it is a good time to buy the market goes down and when I think it is going down it goes up. I am almost always on the wrong side. So, I need to get my head turned around. Are there any indicators for that?
And when I try and go with the trend, the market reverses so I still lose.
Well, I won't give up. I am just going to keep learning.
Thanks for your terrific site. It is really wonderful and I hope that eventually something will reach out and grab me. A catharsis if you will. The proverbial light bulb turning on.
I wish I had something to share that would help someone else in the same situation that I find myself in but till then, I will keep on trucking.
Thanks, again. Big Mike. I appreciate all your efforts.

Thanks for embracing your teachable spirit Mike and opening this site. Looking forward to participating in a give and take atmosphere that benefits both parties. I have been trading for about 6 years , 10 to 18 hours a day and over 9000 hours of bid/ask analysis on market delta during this time on the 3 to 6 tick reversal charts on up. Was a clerk at the CBOE back in 89-90. I trade the ES, and dabble in the Euro, Crude, YM, Bonds, and have traded most american futures mkts. Am interested in scalping as well as 78 to 96% high probablility trades intraday. Have been a modetor for another site and have taught a few peeps how I trade bid/ask -tick order flow using volume and price analysis. Again thanks and Hi Ya'll.
Well after being emailed and called a lurker or a leach I have come out of hiding.
This is my first post.
I have always bean of mind that silence is golden and speech is silver. So I apologize for not posting sooner.
OK enough of that.
Mike I thank you for introducing me to Al Brooks. I have purchased his book ( after attending the webinar with Al) and I am very happy with the content.

Hi All,
I am Sujith from India. I am here to share my experience with you all and learn as much as i can from you all. Happy to join in this great community.
I was a successful self employed business owner. I built a marketing company from my home with only a $10k credit card to producing over $7mm in annual revenue three years later. Unfortunately, that has been dissolved for many reason. The economy didn't help and there were other factors which I won't get onto. I have never been one to work for someone else. So I got into day trading and have been for a year now this coming September 2010. No employees that you can't trust, no customers that can be pains in the you know what and no vendors who don't always produce what they promise. It's just me and the market and I love this business.
However, I have yet to have a profitable month. When I first started I did a lot of research for trading systems. This process took me three months before I made a decision to sign on with David Marsh's system Emini Trading Strategies nine months later I decided his system is not for me and for several others as well from what I heard. I kept in contact with other students that even went as far as paying him to make Dow trades on their accounts. They too bailed after he lost over 40% of their account in a short period of time, I believe two months is all it took.
After that fiasco I decided that these guru's only make their living from selling their so-called guaranteed trading system and vowed never to waste my money on them again. The past nine months have been very costly, losing a bundle of money meaning better than the average annual income. I have looked at it as the cost of a solid education. With the help of a veteran floor trader with over fifteen years experience I now have a system in place and have more confidence in this methodology. I no longer use any indee's, I make my entries solely on (PA) price action and volume nothing else.
The missing piece to the puzzle is working on "ME". Psychology is the biggest obstacle in trading, 90% IMO. I won't go deep about it because I'm sure all of you know this or should know this. I have been back to SIM trading for about three months now and will continue to do so until I have a profitable month.
In closing, I would like to thank Mike for this forum. I have been looking threw it for a few weeks now and find it to be a great resource for all independent traders. The threads are very informative and the feedback is encouraging and motivational. I hope that I can learn from those who are better defined and experience and at the same time provide valuable insight and feedback of my own.
Thank you all for reading and best of luck in your trading.
Hi Gents,
I'm a newbie who started reading and learning about forex less than a month ago. I've some prior experience in stock trading. However, I'm keen to take up forex trading as a profession (hopefully in the near future). Currently, I've a demo account and started learning to trade. I'm a true noob ;P.
Based on my character, I think I would start off being a scalping trader.... follow the trend, go for the bits (for the time being) and avoid the impulse of just jump into the trade first (due virtual $$$).
I hope to share the experience as well as learn from you.
Hello and Thank You for giving me the opportunity to join this great forum. I am not one to usually join
these rooms but there was something here that made me feel welcome.
I was a former NYSE floor broker for 24 years, am a student of the markets but never really learned how to trade. I went through the usual ups and downs, going from day to swing trading back to day trading, buying
different trading systems and like the rest of us always looking for the Holy Grail. I was fortunate not to loose my account but spent over $10k on trading seminars and systems. Most of them were garbage and were a waste of money and time.
What I did learn was to preserve capital and be patient. I believe the best trading decision I made was to read Al Brooks articles in Futures magazine and to purchase his book. Price Action to me is as close to the Holy Grail as you are going to get and your screen is not cluttered with different indicators and the like. Very clean and just focus on price.
Thank You once again and look forward to participating.
Well, Im new in this little big world of trading, sorry because this is not my native language, but Im trying to improve it . Only presenting myself and give thanks for all the people sharing things in this forum and doing things more easier.
