I've not a novice nor am I a professional, but I do trade daily. Mostly futures only in equities, metals, currencies. I recently switched to Sierra Chart and see no reason to start the race-wheel rolling, but learn from the experienced. I am trained in Wyckoff analysis, but am moving to TPOs, Vol Profile, and footprints.
Hello futures.io community. I am the TheFuturesKid. I trade Emini ES strictly. I am a pure price action scalper. Trend channels, support and resistance, 2000 tick chart, and a 21 EMA is what I use. Look forward to connecting with you all.
Hi there. Louis from Switzerland. I'm new to trading, something i've been curious about for a number of years now. Since I have some spare time time, I'm diving into it. I'm also attending a course from Axia futures in London (live streaming) to speed up the learning curve.
One thing I'm wondering is if manual trading and automated are two separate world or rather a continuation from one to the next. Any thoughts ?
Hello Big Mike and everyone else here. This is Manoj here, been trading markets on and off for last 14 years and now full time into it, thanks to the Pandemic. I just trade based on my own analysis, fundamental, momentum, technical and all that I feel suits the season. Hope I'll be able to contribute to others and learn from the community.
Trading with Ninja 8 mostly micros, just started this year learning about futures and the Ninja Platform. Had problems with Ninja Dom was looking for alternatives. Just here to learn from you all.
Will you unpack this a little bit for me, please? Is the idea use the close of the prior day to suggest an entry, then close EOD?
As far as entering orders and allowing them to run through the day is concerned, I'd love to do that, but I don't trust orders to close correctly all of the time. I was with ToS, now with Tradovate. Nothing has happened for me to feel that way, I'm just paranoid, I think.
