Thanks bloom, I get the idea now! Its like waves. When it slows down, do we have to see big prints (limit buyer/seller holding the level)?

That is why i tell 1.5-2 years ago watch one colored or monochrome tape)))
You will focus on how it moves instead OFFER BID hypnotizing dance )))
This is the first step
too many things too tell ))) In the begin you must to study PACE OF THE TAPE )))
There is no rules what do we need to see. I would no say we must see large prints. speed and how it changes. How levels hold. On which speed tape comes to level. many many things. With practice you ll see it yourself. 2 years of study tape before you begin clear understand. This is a sacrifice ))))

Hello guys! I didn't have time to post it yesterday so will do it today.

Here's another entry from yesterday similar to previous one (see pic.)

Video:

First 20 seconds of the video I think there is an iceberg on 1453.00 lvl. Look how price ticks up to 53.25 but no trades go off there then someone hits against the 52.75 inside bid, and pulls about 800 contracts off the next bid at 52.50 - this is a good spot to go short.

Later in the video around 1:00 - 1:35 I see someone holding the bid at 1453.00. I have no idea why would anyone do that considering that later price moved significantly lower. But around 1:33 it also gets broken I see bids pull and offers stack - second possibility to go short.

At 2:00 - 2:40 I see tape moving in a very chop manner around 2:10 - 2:20 it even stalls completely, but after that big chunks of red prints start to appear in it.

Interesting place in the DOM around 2:42 mark - inside bid is pulled, 52.50 bid is pulled as well, as sson as price ticks down 2000 is flashed to the 42.50 offer - this is a third possibility to go short.

If looking solely at the tape

At the beginning of the video I see it moving with good speed and mostly green, then big red prints appear around 0:23 @ 52.75 at 0:30 big green prints appear at the same level. Could this be someone shorting it first with market then with limit orders? Then the tape stalls and moves back and forth at around 1:20 big prints go against 53.25 offer. Then I see it stop again and from 1:30 to 1:50 accelerate in opposite direction - place to short at 52.50 or somwhere near. Same behaviour repeats after 2:00 mark - tape stops then accelerates with red prints around same price level of 52.50.

Sometimes the obvious works - look how big limit is sitting @ 56.50 offer, price came up to it and didn't breach it - was a good place to go short. I tried to get in using limits, but didn't get filled got in at 55.25 and got 2 ticks

I am long 1455 00. But i am lose from opening again. 225$. Already cover a part of my loss.
In the begin filled BID Offer 1455. Stops are 1443 and 1447. At 1447 begins capitulation to offers

Than you see buyers try to BID market higher but they are too weak to pull prices higher

Now we see how offers are filling. If they holds short if break long. Stops at 1145 75 and 1450-1451

Here i see how offer holds and get out from trade. Long cover/ 10$+ total

Bloom how do you consider exits once in position? Just reverse of entries?

1) tape analyses
2) felling and emotions
3) trade managment

Long entry worth considering.

Pic shows the reson - pullback in a local uptrend to the median.

Video:

The setup itself occurs from 1:00 to 2:00 minutes of the video.

First, tape is fast and prints a lot of red, price reaches 54.25 lvl then at 1:12 we see big lot buying against inside offer at 54.50 - 472 contracts, big green chunk prints in tape, price ticks up and we see following:

374 contracts added to the inside bid at 54.50
inside offer changes from 1591 to 913
54.25 bid changes from 696 to 1188

1:20 - price ticks down to 54.25 but this time there is much less selling compared to previous wave as seen in tape.
at around 1:30 someone buys out first the 54.50 ask then the 54.75 ask pulls offers and firms bid - this is a spot to go long, at 55.00

If you look at the tape from 1:00 to 1:40 it goes like this:

Strong Selling - Strong Buying - Weaker Selling - Stronger Buying - wave changes direction. I think the feel of this can be only obtained with great amount of practice

Short right after the market open:

Look how fast moves tape and how much is traded against 1463.75 - 1464.50
at 1:24 we see price poke through 1464.50 only 12 trade at 1464.75 offer. Then tape slows down and then accelerates to the opposite side. Trade here would be to short at 1464.25-1464.00
