@Silvester17:

Thank you so much for your quick response.

After sending my previous request, I was contemplating whether to use GomCD or simply use absolute volume. If in case, I don't use GomCD indicator what settings should I change in the parameter selection window please?

Thanks for your help.

With the new PAS version, can I make a strategy using DB with NinjaScript?
Could I also use the PASOscillator set to Vol in a NinjaScript strategy?
Just want to check before I create it, to avoid any NT problems.

Thank you,

Rachel

element that picks out divergence. Admittedly I have to study this thread from the beginning. I'd love to see this divergence picker on a few other items as well. I will examine code and try not to break anything, but help is very much appreciated. Here is one question. On regular divergence this thing is pretty accurate. I am wondering what the decision parameters are and if anyone can point that our in the settings or code. Here is why...how did it miss this one: @Silvester17

@wldman,

it didn't miss it. here it is

it all depends on the settings you're using. like if you make the swing size smaller (I changed it from 7 to 5) the divergence will show up. what kind of settings to use is up to you. here are the parameters you would have to pay attention to. for better understanding, I copied @dorschden explanations

Parameter:

01. Swing Type:

- standard: a new swing is found when price is above or below the high or low of the last N bars and N = Swing size
- gann: based on Gann's rules for swings
- ticks: swing calculated by ticks
- percent: swing calculated by percent

02. Swing Size:

- Represents the swing size. e.g. 1 = small swings and 5 = bigger swings. Which size you use depends on your trading style. There is no best setting for everybody

03. Double top/- bottom strength

- Represents the double top/-bottom strength. Increase the value to get more double tops and -bottoms

04. use close values

- swing calculations based on closing price and not high and low

like you said, a good thing would be to read the thread. when people complain the thread is too big, then at least filter the posts and only read what @dorschden has to say.

good luck

@Silvester17:

Your divergence indicator looks perfect and I don't get the same and in most cases, as I pointed out in one of my earlier messages, the divergence lines are drawn all over the place, even though the logic doesn't support it.

May I know which momentum indicator is employed in your panel-2 with a parameter settings of;34,13&55)? If possible can you share the same.

Appreciate your support

Regards,

Raj1.

@Raj1,

sure, absolutely!! it's the klinger volume oscillator (KVO) made by @Fat Tails. and in my example I used the default settings 34, 13, 55. the kvo is in the download section:

@Silvester17:

Thanks for your help.

Can you please add this indicator into the PASPro indicator for the choice selection of indicators to plot divergence lines?

Appreciate your help.

Regards,

Raj1
