Hi James, Thanks for the kind reply, so I would like to see if you can help me... my trading results are not consistent and I am still Sim-trading on trade station..jigsaw indicator... how does that work ? I am trying to get some system going to trade after hours here in US and eastern session almost always beats me. I like ES, US interest rate products like treasury notes and Gold, Crude oil and currency futures! Whatever presents an opportunity.. I would like to learn from you if that's ok! My trading style is to scalp the markets using the Depth of Market (DOM) / Price Ladder. Jigsaw provides a standalone system (daytradr) or as a Jigsaw DOM add-in to other Trading apps (e.g. Ninja). I suggest you take a look at Jigsaw's website https://www.jigsawtrading.com/ for more information.

As a new trader you need to take ownership of your full end to end trading process. From the broker you use, the tools you use (e.g. Charts/Indicators, Market Profile, Price Ladders / DOM etc), trading style (e.g. scalper vs swing etc), products and timezones. At the beginning it's best you study only one or two markets - to get to understand the ebb flow of the market and it's nuances throughout the day's trading.

For after hours trading in the US. The ES Globex trades differently to the ES Pit session. It's best you choose a product that trades nicely during the Eastern session and study that market before you switch to live trading. I don't trade the Eastern session but trade the UK Open for Eurex products (e.g. Eurostoxx).

Just take one step at a time and be patient with pulling your trading process together.

I live in The Netherlands and am currently working as a contractor (IT, mostly SAP). In the process of studying, practicing and writing a business plan to start full-time trading (somewhere next year).

Trading with NinjaTrader, using price action and geometric patterns, on futures (6E/CL/DX/FDAX/NG).

What I like about trading - you can rely only on yourself, you have to discover and remove your own limitations (fears. anxiety etc..), ability to work from any place on Earth (this part I like most).
Currently in the stage of educating myself.
