Anyone know of a website where you can download Historical Economic Releases going back 10 years with the ability to adjust to Local time?

Have seen a few threads and even .xls of last few years but this is for US, and out of date. Any help welcome.

Check with @MWinfrey, my understanding is he has something very similar.

I do not know of anywhere that you can download historical news. I download the weekly news from Forex Factory and save to an excel spreadsheet that I use for backtesting and for my automated trading. However, I only have news data back to 2009. I wrote a program to retrieve the news items from Forex Factory and it isn't in the kind of shape to be given to anyone else. Actually, I modified the EconNews indicator that is available for download here at NexusFi (formerly BMT). I can post the excel spreadsheet of the news items that i have if you want.

Here is a site that I have been using the past year that I have found very useful. The best part about the site is being able to look at a chart and see how the currencies reacted to the news. Just did a quick look and it looks like the data only goes back to 2008 so not exactly what you are looking for. Figured this might be pretty valuable to any currency traders.

Forex news trading calendar with economic events analysis and currency exchange charts

Just go to more on the economics calendar and select history for any news event. Enjoy.

with this one you can choose local time. but not sure how far back you can go. plus the very best, it updates a few seconds after the release.

here's an example from 2008

Hi @bundwidower
I am using a calendar which provides data from 2001 to now. It is only in german...
The data can be seen weekly - one can choose any week on the calendar window to the right.
Behind the data line the detail will pop up.
By clicking on a event - like ECB decision - the result is shown and you can go by clicking
"back" to any previous ECB decision all the years. Hope this helps.
