Webinar: NinjaTrader 8 preview discussion with Raymond Deux (CEO)
That was already answered in the last webinar. The answer was that NT8 will natively store the bid/ask bar data, and will also natively support backfill from supported data feed providers.
I will post the recording for this 2nd webinar sometime tomorrow.
Please remember -- Ray asked that you DO NOT send questions about NT8 to their support team, because the support team is not equipped to answer them. However, he did ask two specific questions that he wanted feedback on:
1) Feedback on a premium pay model for extra Market Replay functionality including for example the recording of the SP500 and the ability to download multiple days of data with one click
2) Feedback on the demand for Market/Volume Profile to be included natively vs using third-party tools
For those two items, you can leave your feedback on this thread. Please remember he is gauging demand, so you will want to speak up if those are important to you.
NT 7 hasn't froze up, crashed or otherwise "gone ridicules" on me and I hope those who depend on it will agree they wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for NT 8 to ensure that level of stability.
Thank you Big Mike for stating my question in a clearer manner:
Having multiple different timeframe charts in the same NT panel/window, without the distortion of larger time frame candlesticks being spaced out and having an uninterrupted stream of candle sticks going back at least a month, would be great. Being able to put four one on top of the other, or a grid of 2 on top of another 2, would be great (hopefully speed wouldn't be delayed).
The reason for suggesting Point and Figure charting nearly identical to Bull's-Eye and Candle Stick charting appearance nearly identical to StockCharts is personal preference.
