I've been trading commodity F&O for a long time, and now I'm looking for a platform to automate my strategy. I'm looking for a platform that will evaluate the delta of my F&O positions, and only take trades in the underlying (triggered by ma indicator or tick and minute charts) in the direction of delta neutral. i.e, if my net delta (combined options +futures) in crude is negative, I'd only take long trades in the underlying, and if positive I'd only take shorts.

Anyway, have been evaluating NT, MC, and SC -- but I haven't been able to figure out how to make it work. I'm not an experienced coder, so it could just be me.

I've been reading various threads advocating one or the other of the above platforms, but haven't found anything directly on point. So, was wondering if any of you more experienced system developers had a favorite off the shelf, or custom system that would work for what I'm trying to do?

Take an IQ feed connection, program it outside and use any of the platforms for visualization and execution.
even if the platform pulls you a leg, you switch to another platform and you keep your core system...

Pretty sure for the depth of complication you are looking at, that Think or Swim is going to be your best bet. Most of the functions you need to call are are already standardized, e.g. MA, net delta value of the entire combo, etc. The only time you are going to run into problems here with ToS is if you need automation that updates after each trade/tick, which ToS will not be able to provide you with that type of update unless you're using their API (which I've found to be very clunky, under supported, and requires significant commitment of capital without the corresponding degree volume discounts that you get from other firms)

Maybe look at OptionVue as an alternative to help with the visualization.

NT is going to be horrible when it comes to executing and monitoring options. SC is not much better for that purpose either.
