If you go to their homepage (sierrachart.com) you will find in the menubar a topic "getting started" just follow the instructions step by step - worked out pretty well with me.
In the right top corner you will find a box where it says "find" and a button next to it that says "search", type in any topic you need help with. SC is very well documented and you will usually find help through that.
