The only program I know of that auto-trades Renko Charts is Metatrader 4. There is a program from pimpmyea.com that creates two charts: a Renko offline chart with an indicator used as a trigger to buys and exits. However there is some sort of emulation since the actual trades are executed on a different chart created by the program at the same time. This program only runs on MT4.
I have TradeNavigator and the Renko charts are created and I used a moving average crossover system to generate trades however TradeNavigator will not execute any trade. I don't understand the reasons for this but I know it is true and the Genesis people don't know how to address this problema.
I believe NinjaTrader has the same problem. If this is not true I would gladly switch platforms so if it is posible for somebody to run a rest on a Renko chart with a moving average crossover system (where the cross of the MA average makes the traing decisions without concerning Price--every order at the market) -- I would be very, very interested.
For example, the system would be buy at market when the Renko bar closes above the MA and exit when the second renko down par closes below the MA. Sell short is the reverse. If the number of bars could be user entered that would be better but what I am looking for now is a confirmation that a system will execute trades based on Renko bars.

Systems simply will not trade on Renko charts, even if the system is something like a moving average cross with market orders on the MA cross. TradeNavigator support doesn''t see a soluition to this. Does another platform besides MT4 have a way to do these trades automatically?
