I know, silly title, but then there is an element of artistry in this proposal.
I attach code that paints the background panel different colours according to different conditions.
In this instance when the whole of the bar is above/below or straddling the EMA(Close,5).
Thought I would open up a thread so users could post
1. Their own blends of colours.
2. Other ideas of how to use this.
So come on get creative....
Ps only for when you are dying to trade but know you shouldn't! Occupies the mind, preserves capital.
Could you make it look a bit more like van Gogh, please? I like the sunflowers, they keep my mind relaxed, particularly in autumn. Is it possible to code them in a way that they do not interfere with price action, I do not want to have them blossoming around my entry and exit signals.
Instead of flowers I can also imagine some bulls or bears, maybe depending on current market conditions.
Well let me edit my earlier comment. It would be nice if we could connect Ninja to Illustrator. I am getting fed up of using trendlines now we could use Bezier curves. Imagine the power of prediction we would get! No need to use Fibonacci anymore.
Draw accurately new trendlines in perspective, create variable-width strokes, paint with lifelike brushes etc.
Well I am really starting to get into this.
Can't understand most of the msdn site regarding LinearGradientClass so it's all a bit rough at the moment.
However I learnt C# by just using and learning from their examples and the various forums such as this one.
Hopefully I will be able to come up with some interesting designs.
Let me state this won't help you trade but it sucks up the hours whilst I wait for a signal or for a trade to mature.
Stops me trying to be too clever with the trade , if you know what I mean
