Thanks for the video, but sorry, apperently something went wrong with my post.

I'm using a third parties indicator, the indicator appears in the list where you can make the 'conditions' for the strategy so I'm assuming that it can be used for making strategies.

But I find it difficult to set the conditions, for example, in a footprint chart there is a value area printed in color in the bar. How do you define this when you want to buy are get short on the next bar?

Thanks,
Tom

26.1 is the last version Ninjatrader supported both 32 and 64-bit versions...

Be sure to put the ca.pem in the \bin and \bin64 directories....

Thanks for your kind response and guidance.

To add to my terrific night - I took a full Acronis backup and after the issues started try to do a full restore. It failed ... (it was not my best night).

I had not taken a backup of the documents\nt8 folder (read the guidance too late and thought I had a backup covered). I am no sure if I can regress but would like to - if anything to stop these annoying logins.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Phantom,

I fixed a number of issues by upgrading various indicators/tool sets I use. That sorted out some immediate issues. I still had irregular hangs (one chart would freeze but the rest would keep going). I persisted for a coupe of nights and regressed to 8.0.28. That worked a treat and sorted out the login frustrations as well.

Hopefully when the software release settles, they will also have a better approach to the passwords as well. Maybe an authenticator (once per day) or allow a password to be saved. Especially when you have to restart when charts hang. I use 16 character random passwords with a password manager. But forcing a password to be entered at every login makes you change it to something short and memorable.

Anyway - thanks for the suggestion - my atm machines are back online

PS for everyone's benefit, I upgraded the XABCD News Pro and TradesViz Indicators which restored most of the platform stability (still had occasional hangs).
