Forza Ferrari! And Alonso is a spectacular driver. Red Bull has a great package built by Adrian Newey. Last season was surprisingly good with the no refueling and I'm stoked to see what this season brings.
F1 track SHOULD be under construction, but there is a measely 2 lane road heading to the track. Expected traffic delays are upwards of 7 hours to get to and get out of the track/parking. The company who has won the bid for Austin will have to rebuild the road as a 4 lane road.
4 cylinder turbo's are good. It wouldn't be the first time, and those cars made some RIDICULOUS power, 1200hp or more. Even though the technology trickles to the road within a few years, I'll be very disappointed in Ferrari comes out with a 4cyl turbo car. But I really doubt they would. But using that technology to make a V8 twin turbo in the 458 successor would be glorious.
yea looking forward to this season too , will be interresting to see how the new overtaking gadgets will work out..
like the adjustable rear wing .. but i have read somewhere that they can only use the wing on a certain predefined
passage at the track... wich to me sounds ridicolus .. i mean we all want to see some overtake action in the races..
it can be used at any time in practice and qualifying, but during the race can only be activated when a driver is less than one second behind another car at pre-determined points on the track
i mean they can write a story book for each race then..
also i hope that this rule wont affect the races.. in hinsight. ie that the races are not discussed afterwards on the roundtable.. cause some teams claim that .. there was an illegal overtake .. because driver A was 1.5 seconds behind driver B .. and was 5 centimetres away from the allowed overtaking passage... ;(
actually i live like 20km north the Monza circuit, wich is the italian GP location
i heard also about a wired rule about the rear wing... imho they are messing too much with rules and this will affect a lot this sport. they should really take some step back. anyway last season was fun even if alonso didn't win.....this new season i hope we can get a revenge
well the link is just to an italian newpaper internet page , anyway you can search in google something similar in english. Use something "maranello ferrari drive 60euro" or variation of that.
it's a new (new?) business started over there, some people rent a ferrari for few minutes, for few bucks. I think it's the only chance i have to drive a ferrari in the near feature. Instead of going to avis and rent a fiat punto for 1 day, you go there and rent a ferrari for 30 min ahahahahha...
Of course it's not an official ferrari business, actually ferrrari is upset with that.
I will go there later in the year and i will report how it is
