It depends on how you trade. Just me, but I chart alot so I'd rather have multiple monitors so I can spread out my charts and immediately know what market/chart type i'm looking at based on what screen. The large single monitors IMO making charting a hassle because you have to end up using software to manage your windows instead of the ability to compartmentalize with physical monitors. This is particularly true for example when you need to access a web browser. On a multi-monitor setup I can simply maximize it and I'm ready to do what I need to do. On a wide screen, without any software I have to fiddle with the size. Conversely, if you trade with alot of DOM ladders or have alot of mini charts, the widescreen has it's uses since you can put as many as you need and don't have to worry about dealing with monitor edges.
I have one of these AOC curved monitors and although it is obviously different, apples and oranges, I'll go on record as saying that the curved screen and real estate are wonderful. Wish I had a couple more of them.
@trepidation brings up some very good points. Personally, I'd go for it. There's software you can use to compartmentalize the screen when you want, the resolution is fantastic, I think it would be more immersive and it would be great to de-clutter the desk a bit... but I also use my rig for gaming
What type of gpu are you planning on using? Your going to need a pretty powerful gpu to use that monitor properly. How graphic intensive is the program you are using and what are you displaying?
