Hi Big Mike and all Forum members,

I'm a full time student and new trader. I retired and wanted to manage my own investments. for the last 3 years, I've studied everything I could get my eyes on and arms around. I've read and I've sim traded. I stil haven't found my system although I'm clear that I want to trade futures and commodities as a day trader. later, when I learn how to trade successfully, I will move to Swing Trading for a little longer term trade.

I am looking forward to becoming more familiar with this site and to tune in to what I can learn here.

Thanks for starting this site and for the contributions you and all of the members have made.

Jim G

Hi everyone

I joined futures.io (formerly BMT) after I started working with NinjaTrader. Before that I was mostly trading index-options on the Eurex market, but I want and need to improve and want to get into automated trading. I hope to find hints and answers on futures.io (formerly BMT) for upcoming questions and problems, but also to help other members once I am more experienced.

Thanks, Cheers

Hello all, I've been trading for about 4 years. I started off trading stocks, specifically penny stocks. Yep, laugh it up. Didn't do too bad to be honest, all in all though that account mushroom clouded. From that moment on - I was determined to not only get my money back, but to get it back 10 fold.

I am currently focused on trading the ES.

By the way, this is the best forum I have ever come across. I'm extremely happy to be a part of futures.io (formerly BMT), thank-you Mike and to all the others who've contributed.

Let's make that scrilla!

Hi all...

I am an ex Institutional Spot FX trader (mainly $/¥, €/¥, €/$ ) however as an independent trader I now primarily daytrade Futures: ES.

Also had a stint as a broker (Institutional side) back in the 90's...

hello i am here because i needed to find another place to learn to program as i have developed my system with NT7, i was writing then started ranting i moved that below. i look forward to learning to program and have enrolled in a beginner course, in which is online. i have also watched BigMike sample video a few times. my mine problem seems to be learning the gammar and syntax, i am currently downloaded all of the strategies and i send time learning to "clearly" read them

**SORRY FOR THE RANT**(rant in white)
i have come to this forum because every question i asked in the ninjatrader forum was answered that is not supported, i understand the reason but as most of the people the lease or bought nt, are not programmers, i am not, altho i am studying, as most learn they need to do, but i learning student of programming needs answers the at least point them in the right direction, and this is what i hoping to find here, as it takes me many hours to try and figure out what is what.
mainly i am wanting to be pointed in the right direction

Dear all,

I am a Private Banker who have a passion in trading. I am based in Hong Kong and because of my passion and experience, I have attracted a lot of clients who also have an interest in trading Hong Kong stocks.

Trading experience - 7 years
Trading vehicle - Hong Kong stocks and Hang Seng Futures
Holding period - 1 day to a few weeks (for my clients it would be a few days to a few years, depending on their requirements)

I have opened my account with futures.io (formerly BMT) for almost 6 months, however I have been busy with designing and fine tuning my systems, now that bulk of the design work is done, I would like to be part of the trading community and be more involved.

I do come to the forum regularly (my job can get quite busy sometimes). If you have any questions about Private Banking industry, please do not hesitate to drop me a line.

Ethics is the key to success in Private Banking, but yet you rarely see it around!

Calvin

Hi everyone:

I am new to forex trading.
Hopefully I will learn how to trade successfully from the wonderful people in this forum.

I have read a lot of negative things about forex trading and have read that nobody makes any money trading forex. It is only the brokers who make money.

I hope this is not true.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi everyone-

My name is Tim. For the past 5 years I have been living in parts of Europe. I have been trading for 10 years, commodities, equities and forex. My trading is fully systematic. I have done a lot of work with Neural Networks in the past and used Tradestation. Currently, I use Amibroker and I develop my system there. I am interested in predictive modeling and genetic algorithms applications to trading system development, especially for position/swing systems with an average trade holding period of 3 days.

All the best.
