UniRenko - Universal Renko BarType v4 (July 31st 2013) --> Price 'traveling' to '0' during Market Replay issue.
This is an update for the UniRenko Bars type that fixes an issue with Market Replay that causes price to 'travel' to '0' …
(3) Unzip the file UniRenkoBarsType.cs and copy it to the folder Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> bin -> Custom -> Type.
(4) Restart NinjaTrader.
With a bit of luck you will now be able to select UniRenko bars as a bar type for your charts.
All custom bars need to be registered. The UniRenko bars are registered as PeriodType.Custom5. In case that you have already installed another custom bar type, which is registered as PeriodType.Custom5, this will create a conflict and you may not be able to use the UniRenko bars. In that case you need to edit the UniRenkoBarsType.cs file and change the selection Custom5 to something else.
I am using another type of Renko bars -MedianRenkobars- but I would like to compare their behavior/performance with the "UniRenkobars".
Yet, I am trying to create my own private type of real (not "virtual") Renko bars (I call them G1Renko bars) based on "other" real time info/data.
