Hi Everyone!

I'm Alyssa, I'm 30 years old, and a beginner to day trading.

I've had no success in day trading to this point. I've read a ton of books, not just on trading and technicals, but also on psychology (Trading in the zone).

My goal is to become a great momentum day trader. Right now, I have a few issues.

- Small account size..WAY below the $25k (so I am limited to three day trades in five day window). I've partially addressed this by opening two separate brokerage accounts.

- Mostly, my problem is thinking I see the entry, and then having it fail on time and time over again. Often I look for the break above the declining top line. When it happens on the one minute chart, I may enter, but it often breaks back below.

If I wait more than just the one minute chart, I tend to miss a ton of the upside, as these stocks move fairly quickly.

I'm very much focused on high, consistent volumes for stocks that I day trade.

Nice to meet everyone! I look forward to interacting with you all!

hey Alyssa, what are you trading?

IMHO, technicals and momentum are historical indicators. past returns are not indicative of future returns.

I figured you are doing equities. try futures or options. as a hint, try to trade the vwap first, then measure your performance.

best.
