Thanks @Glakt. Sorry it took so long to post it, but it's not on my main computer. A lot of the credit should go to @kevinkdog as using monte carlo analysis to calculate risk of ruin was a concept I first learnt from him. Actually building the quick simulator was easy and fun!
Understanding risk of ruin is a concept most traders ignore. And I bet that undercapitalization is responsible for more trader blowouts than anything else...

Working on a institutional style prop desk that's something you never have to deal with. Spent a lot of time quantifying risk, and using Monte Carlo, but never risk of ruin. Risk of job loss maybe!
I've read some articles and publications related to Monte Carlo simulations and Risk of Ruin from Kevin Davey and they were very interesting and helpful. He seems to be one of the few people who openly share relevant info about this. I didn't know he is also here on FIO, so it's good to know. Thanks @SMCJB and @kevinkdog!

The amount of good information @kevinkdog gives away for free is amazing. Ignoring the fact that many 'educators' are not traders and are often selling useless information, the ones that are real often lure you in with intriguing titles only to find it's just advertising and you have to sign up or pay to get to the actual information. Sure Kevin's main course isn't free, but there's a lot of great stuff that is. Two of the best or at least my favorites are...
For those of you do not know, @SMCJB has been a professional trader at big companies, and now for his own account. His long term success in this brutal industry is admirable, to say the least.
He routinely examines, challenges and questions my free (and paid) research. He has insights that few retail traders (including myself) have any awareness of. I am gratified every time I pass his scrutiny, for he is a top notch trader.

To return the favor, for those of you who do not know, @kevinkdog won the 2006 World Championships of Futures Trading, came second in 2005 and 2007 and has been a successful professional trader for 20-25 years! He's also published three (?) books on Algo Trading.
