@Kharmaz, I don't mean to be a jerk and I apologize for making my last post come out too sharply.
But this is the way that we have had the most success in getting these requests filled.
If you go over to the new thread, you will see that someone has already offered to help and has questions for you.
See if you can help him understand and fill your request. It usually takes some explaining and back-and-forth before someone can really understand what you are asking for.

Hey,
If you can help me with information about putting a parameter (NinjaTrader 8) in the settings where i will type a money value, if my strategy loss goes eaqul to that value, my strategy will be disabled.
There isn't any parameter like that, unfortunately. It would need to be already a part of the strategy. If it's not, you'll need to have a programmer modify the strategy.

I have opened a new thread for your question in the NinjaTrader section of the forum.
This request will require a programmer to fill. By placing your question there, I hope that it get the attention of an NT coder who will give you a hand. Any response will be in that thread, so that is where you would look for it.
If you get a response, you will need to share the existing code of your strategy so it can be modified.

I'm new here. If I ask or say anything not appropriate, please let me know.
I like Tradingview's 'Bollinger Band stops'. It helps me stay in a trade while the price is bouncing around.
Could that be created in NT8? I would like to use it as a Strategy. I used strategy builder to build a similar strategy, 'Price crosses above/below WMA', but it is not nearly as good as BB stops.
Hi. I've been simming in Tradestation and learning the trading software that the man I'm dating wrote himself. It is very heavy on calculations. I've been learning and practicing for 4 years, and feel ready, but the computer that I built 4 years ago is struggling to keep up with his latest code.
My question is where can I find out what hardware I need? 4 years ago I called New Egg and they helped me pick components, but now they don't make recommendations. The employee I just spoke to thought that my computer should still be fast enough. 4 years ago the reps at tradestation were not that much help. At the time they told me to get the fastest processor, so I purchased an I7-8700K 6 core 37.5 Ghz chip, 16 mg memory, and an Asus motherboard. I did not purchase a special graphics card. I would like to avoid purchasing another computer. I liked building this one because my system is not bloated with all the stuff that comes with purchased computers.
My struggle is in figuring out what I need and where to find that information. I did read a thread on this site about clearing cache and I will try that. If anyone else can help or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I posted something in "Help & How To" & didn't mean to... I have spent 20 minutes trying to find out how to delete it. There is no "delete" button in the lower corner of the edit page, as some have stated. Please advise.
Futures Traders, Does anyone have first hand experience or feedback on APEX for funding trading accounts? Would really appreciate it. Robin (Futures trader)
