Hey Lolu,

Good observation. The reason that I changed the type of EMA is........that I have found on markets that perform better using a faster chart (4 and 6 range bar) it works better. I never had this problem when I was using the original EMA _colors because the YM settings of 10-15 range bar were no problem. Just experiment with your chosen instrument. If it's a faster chart just use the Universal Color Moving Average instead of the EMA_Colors. I spent all weekend picking chart settings for the 4 indexes(YM,ES,TF,NQ) and (6E,GC,CL,ZN) Just keep tweaking the chart until you find the sweet spot for your style of trading. (till the chart talks to you)

lol you know how many hrs 6 guys have tied up in this thing,we are all out thousands in labor so far and we cant even trade right now because we test everything live no market replays here...sharky

if the finished product is as good as we think it will be then we will probally lease it,already we have had threats to break the code and copy it,and we really are slaving over this thing to make a indicator that beats any for sale right now anywhere,we are just fine tuning it now and about to add some filters that you can turn on and off depending on your trading style,but its up to the group what we finnaly do with it not just me they have worked just as many hrs as i have to make this dot indicator...sharky

might i suggest you start a new topic to discuss sharky enterprises as i was enjoying this thread for its original purpose of less or better no indicators and just reading price action. i'd like to see more talk about price action less talk about indicators.

dont get me wrong. if people want to buy an indicator fine no one is forcing them to do it so long as they are well informed with realistic expectations and not being mislead then who is to say it is good or bad. i just dont want them and try to avoid them where possible. ive been down the indicator path and i came out beaten and bruised and would prefer not to have another run in.
