Hi Beth
My ideal trading hours are
1900hrs- 2200hrs and then
0030hrs -0330hrs
My local time is 16 hours ahead of EST ( GMT+11) [EST is GMT -5 as no daylight savings]
So EST time that would be
0300hrs- 0600hrs and
0830hrs-1130hrs
Of course this isnt to say that you cant trade from EST 0600 to 0830 its just about trading when the liquidity hits the market which tends to liven things up a bit.
Good luck with your new approach.
Lindsay

I almost forgot to provide a quick update on my health. I took an ultra-sound test on my petite heart per my Dr's suggestion. The results do not indicate any major health issues - good news! Having said that, I started modifying my lifestyle. For example, cushioning 1-2 short exercising sessions most of the days, a few hours away from the computers in the afternoon, and watching some relaxing episodes at night (this is very effective in safeguarding dreams on trading charts I've found). When I am getting some warnings from my body, say heartburn and headache, it's time to pause and re-group.
Soooo, I'm certified to be "healthy" again though I am currently fighting a cold (running nose, soar throat and occasional coughing) this weekend.

hi Beth ,
I have found this chart very helpful , you can print it out and hang it close to your computer NB: The most active trading times are when 2 or more equity markets are open.
"Risk more than others think safe.
Dream more than others think practical.
Expect more than others think possible.
Care more than others think wise"

Thanks Hard 8 for your kind reminder. Yes, to trade at ease is what I am working on though I don't mind to be fed with good ideas from experienced members! Smile.
