One try to short the BUND Future. Market got quiet over lunchtime.

I got out BE. no good day.

I should have listened to myself this morning, when I had a doubt (in whatever)

  • my psychological and physical state: I'm feeling very well, but I have a doubt, I don't know what it is
  • my goal for the day: that I try to achieve: I want to wait for clear situations, and finding good stop positions

I took one short position in the ES, which didnt work, I got stopped out.

  • Performance: losses over losses
  • lots of bad luck today, I missed one good run which could have made my day, then only loosers and BEs
    But thats how trading works, you cannot win every day.
  • For next week: I should listen to myself, when in doubt, either trade only 1 contract (half position) or dont trade at all

  • maximum risk (*): per trade $300, max $800 for the day
  • my psychological and physical state: very tiered, exausting weekend, today small position size
  • my goal for the day: today only watching the market, if situation and condition is clear and better I can enter a trade only in trend direction
(*) I had to adjust this, to fit my contract size, but its still about 1% risk

I decided not to trade today, and I think it was a good decision. I couldnt feel what the market was doing, and my signals were completly wrong.
