CURRENT TIME IS: SEP 6TH 20:56:53 (Eastern Time)
ENTERED: SHORT / 1 CONTRACT / CRUDE OIL CLZ23 AT 80.52
TARGET: 79.6
STOP : 80.93

Unless Israle-Palestine conflict escalates, IMO everything seems to suggest oil should be going down.

HIGHEST PRICE DURING TRADE: 80.68, -16 ticks

TRADE TIME ROUGHLY: 6 hours.

I exited because I think it might bounce back to 80.50+ before going down further.

I think I am done for today, might make another trade but I'm not sure.

Sorry guys, I have mistakenly wrote Sep instead of Nov for the dates.

Yesterday I made a big mistake, if I left my position shorting oil, it would have been another 300 ticks plus so about +$3000 more.

I wrote myself that "except Israel-Palestine conflict escalates, everything suggested that oil should be going down" and indeed it did.

Stupid mistake, gonna take a day off.

So far I've posted 3 trades on this forum, all 3 trades finished with a profit. Any kind of feedback, suggestions or questions would be cool.

It's illegal where I live to use foreign 3rd party programs like NinjaTrader to trade futures. So I don't have any setups for that.

I only look at candlebar charts, 1 day, 15 min, 5min, 1 min + news.

I do take in consideration of what's happening on the news before entering so I'm probably not 100% technical.

One suggestion: Thinking in that way is insane for your trading and your health. You have won money but you think you have lost it. It doesn't make too much sense. Enjoy what you do, nothing more. I don't think you have a crystal ball to know what the market will do. Thinking in that way can bring you to a position in futures trades where you will maintain a position based in...hey I know you will do it, let's keep it. Maybe you need to have objective rules to take out profits, more than...I think

Take my comment as positive feedback, you are doing great. Enjoy it!!!

Big Money, has always reason, doesn't matter if they lose or win...

Appreciate your feedback, you are definitely right and I agree.

It's just, you know, when it comes to trading with futures, you know what's right but it's really hard to do it, even after all the hard lessons.

TARGET: 77.98

STOP: 76.42

I still think the big direction for CLZ is downwards, but I am getting the feeling today it's about time for oil to bounce upwards a little bit, before going down further.
