Stay away from Gann Edge and its room leader Brad Collins. I purchased back in Nov 18 with a "guarantee" that if my results dont match his in a period of less than 30 days, then I could get a full refund. The exact guarantee reads as follows. “If within 30 days of your purchase you are not able to achieve our performance results. Provide us your trading statements or screen shot of SIM account reflecting that you took the trades for a full refund.” (I have screen pics of this ) My friend even emailed him to clarify the guarantee. Their exchange reads as follows...
“To qualify for a refund per your results guarantee, what exactly is required(how many trades, how many days of actual trading, how many days in the room, etc) and what documentation of meeting those requirements? Is all of that detailed somewhere? “
[email protected] replied
“The refund is as what is stated on website. If our results do not match yours, show us that you took the trades. That proves we do not make up trades.”
I followed him for one week and even video taped the room in case I needed proof of what trades he took and the fact that I followed his trades exactly. I lost about 120 dollars and a few days later his websites P/L reflected a GAIN of 1200!( I have screen pics to prove) I knew at that point that he was a fraud, but comforted that I could get my money back. Surprisingly he refused despite my sending him my SIM trading screenshots and fulfilling all the criteria of his guarantee. He stated that I didn't get a refund because I only traded in SIM and I did not follow all his trades correctly. I replied that the guarantee itself says that I can trade in SIM and my video (which I offered to send him) and my daily trade screen pics prove that I traded his calls exactly.
If that wasnt enough, the next day he took down the P/L data for the week in question (I have screen pics to prove) and a few days later changed the "guarantee" to the following...
“If within 30 days of your purchase you are not able to achieve our performance results. Provide us your trading statements or screen shot of SIM account reflecting that you took the trades following our rules and trades for a full refund. “ ( I have screen pics to prove)
He added “following our rules and trades” as he knew that this would put the onus on the buyer to prove he followed Gann rules and took all the Gann trades when there is no list the rules or individual trades on the members area. The new wording on the guarantee cemented that he would never have to refund anyone. Without a listing of his rules or listing of his individual trades, the credit card company would have no choice but to side with him in a dispute with this new wording. However, I did video tape the entirety of the room each day which proves every word I say is true, but the dispute department will not accept video tapes.
On Nov 23, he did offer to give me a refund...but not until Jan 30 2019. This seemed very shady to me and he had already proven himself a scam artist and a liar so I told him that I would pursue the dispute route with my credit card.
On the 25th of November he put up a new P/L report for that week reflecting a profit of 765.00. (Again I have pics to prove)
Sadly, this was not enough and I lost the dispute with the credit card company. I am appealing their decision to an arbitrator at this time.
I then emailed him back and stated that I would accept his offer for refund at this time. He reflected that the legal fees to fight the dispute cost more than the 1699 I paid for the Gann Edge course and is now refusing to refund my money.
So again...STAY AWAY FROM Brad Collins AND GANN EDGE.
BTW, He has removed the results guarantee from his website.
If you would like to see any of my proof, I would be glad to share.
Hi, Thx for your candid , honest review of Gann Edge trading room. People who purchased these program have the most valuable insight to these rooms.
Dr Dean Handley put this room on the Global Trade Titan list as a good room. So I will stay away.
I am the friend cited in Steven's review and was following along when Steven tried Gann Edge. Everything Steven says is true. They did not trade as they said we could expect - which was supposed to be totally rule-drive and objective, usually 20 minutes heads up before a trade. And they did not come anywhere close to living up to the expectations they set, and did not honor their guarantee. And everything about they way they reneged on their guarantee was dishonest - changing the wording on their website after Steven asked for the refund, discontinuing posting their P&L after results didn't live up to expectations, offering a refund AFTER the time frame in which Steven could contest the charge though Discover, and then not honoring the refund they offered.
Exactly, the tradingschools review also mentions each of the titans pays hundreds of $ to Handleymonthly to get to be called a "titan". Also it's been found out that "tradeforgreatness", another titan, is run by Handley's wife.
Below is the screen shot of the dispute with PayPal being resolved in your favor and your financial institution should have credited your account $1699.00 no later than 1/21/19. Even though you received the funds you made several false statements including you never received the refund which proof of charge back decision in your favor is shown below.
Per our email 11/29 to you we stated we would refund the funds but needed a few days. But you decided to file a dispute on 12/1 which made this process unable to occur until resolved.. Then you decided to post slanderous Lies on tradingschools.or and futures.io.
We have received significant damages about the lies you posted of not being refunded your purchase price. The damages in lost sales are in excess of $10,000.
If these false and slanderous comments included with the negative reviews that you help initiate with tradeshools.org and futures.io are not removed from these sites by 6/17/19 we will be forced to seek legal remedies for damages in excess of $10,000. Since we have all your personal information from PayPal that should not be an issue.
In response to this I sent them this reply
Gann Edge,
The hard part about being a habitual liar is that you have keep up with all the lies you tell. Below is your reply to me on May 5th when I once again asked for a refund. So it couldnt have occurred in Jan as you reflected. If you would like to do the right thing as I asked you do to on multiple emails, I would be happy to reflect that online.
Steven
