I am using the full robot lab package. I ran 15 bots in live market on the minis for 2 weeks. I started right after a good day, so it had several slight loss days before having a medium good day which put me back in the green. The next week was a couple more slight loss/slight profit days, then it made 35k on 11/30/22. I was out of the market that day to install new robots and re-align my portfolio. Its kinda weird, but after you run in sim for a while, you need to run live for 30-60 days before determining if the bots are profitable. Obviously since the bots have losing days, weeks, and months, you cannot determine profitability in a couple days.

The new robot versions will be out soon.

A few of us have organized a discord group to help each other with the software and compare ideas. We found ways to optimize the robots pretty significantly. By applying bots to other markets/bar sizes and optimizing them, we have achieved net profit/max drawdown ratios in the 20's and one at 30 (optimizing over a 3 year period). Bots out of the box are below 10. This years results are not as good in backtests, but we do have some good optimizations that worked better in 2022 (our best so far is 4 bots running at 10-15). And we are going to start analyzing optimizations based upon 2022 data only for those that believe we are in a long term down market.

I am going live in a few days with my new portfolio, which is optimized with contract sizes.

My take and experience on this is this: Floor trading bots are much, much, much more complex and extraordinarily dynamic which change on daily basis. This is to ensure 'randomness' stays in the markets and only the market makers know their actual intentions.

Our bots on this end try to capitalize on simple movements based on E/SMA, Fibonacci, Swings, Pullbacks, etc. etc. which often needs fine tuning on a daily basis. Even then, we never know what the market bots will do for rest of the day/week, resulting in us thinking why our bots are 'struggling' against them.

My bottomline (personal observation): No matter how good any bot system I will buy, it will have drawdowns (obviously), but it will not be profitable in the long run based on nature of the market bots.

Hi,

I attended Ninjacator webinar and they introduced a package 45 bots package with the training, anyone has any success using their bots ?

Thank you,

i was in the market with 15 bots for 3 weeks, but entered right after a good day, so had some draw down, but got green. Now I know to enter after some draw down. The day I exited the market (this was 2 weeks ago) to install new bots and re-align my portfolio, my portfolio would have had its largest day. I'm still in sim verifying my new portfolio is set correctly, but I consistently see small loser days and then 1 or 2 big winner days.

If you are going to do it, you have to run the bots in sim for 30 or 60 days before deciding if it works for you. Some of us users set up an un-official/un-affiliated discord to share optimizations and help each other, and we have had even better results in there.

My bots trade much better than I do, but my new discretionary system should catch up. I plan to keep discretionary trading because winters are pretty cold where I live.

It is interesting that the bot strategies are data-mined, not set up with indicators.

They also design bots based upon a concept and let users test the bot iterations, which is pretty cool. One uses initial range break concepts and that one is showing some interesting results.

Thank you for the feedback and you've brought up the exact point why I'm targeting using a bot for trading, limit manual trading due to emotional, I think I got a strategy works manually but emotion ended up losing, I have a good idea when to enter the trade but instead staying in a trade and win big, I ended up losing because getting out too early then re-enter.......my thinking would be the bot would enter the trade and stay in a trade without the emotion.....

I have a couple of target as far as bot, subscription, some of the source $500-$600/month or get a full package from Ninjacator for 45 bots pay all at once and go from there.

I attended a 2nd webinar from Ninjacator last night and my question was can their bots be used with funded account ? would they meet draw down requirement from the funded account ? the answer I got was generic.....I understand their position and they can't guarantee anything.

So from your experience can their bot traded using funded account and meet a tight draw down requirement ? let's say for Apex, 50K account, draw down requirement is $2,500 which is 5%, I'm not planning to make big money, all I need is let's say making $100-$200/day per account.

I am a RobotLab user. Great Bots - some losing days but so far (3 months) not a losing week.

Lost the Discord link- can you post it again?

Thanks,
Tom

I am sorry, @tnr61, but Discord links cannot be posted on futures.io. We believe that much of the time they are completely innocent, but there have been times when unscrupulous vendors have used them as a way to fish for new customers using the forum as a way to access the members, and regretfully we have had to disallow them across the board.

This is unfortunate, and of course not everyone with a Discord link is doing this, but we have seen it often enough to feel the need to prohibit them.

Bob.

I just purchased the fantastic 5 bot package. Truth be told I've never used bits and was totally sold on the idea but have no clue what I'm doing. Feel like I just blew a weeks salary. I trade under Apex Funding with decent manual skills but the emotional side gets me. Has anyone found decent parameters for a 25k or 50k account challenge/funded account?
