Looking to see if anyone has information about this new online sim prop firm that just opened up https://myfundedfutures.com/
I wasn't able to find anything online about the founders or the company so I'm instantly skeptical. Also, their website reminds me a lot of the fake brokerage websites that try to scam people on Discord (if you ever got one of those 'How is your trading going?' messages on Discord you know what I'm talking about).
Looking for opinions or information others may have. I'm not really interested in opening an account in yet another online prop firm so more curious than anything right now.
From their website:
They only have Rithmic right now, and Tradovate coming soon.
The first $10k of profit is 100% yours to keep, along with 90% of the profits thereafter.
50k starter account is $100/month + $149 one time fee, 2k end of day drawdown (not live), 5 cons, 3k profit target
50k starter account is $165/month, 2k end of day drawdown (not live), 5 cons, 4k profit target
You are limited to 3 simulated funded accounts and 1 live funded account at once
Sister company of myfundedfx
So it does appear they transfer people to live eventually, and that EOD drawdown is a nice carrot too. I'm not able to find anything about myfundedfx, so that doesn't help their credibility either
I am also trying to learn more about this company... they refer to the futures side as "MFFU."
I ventured into their discord channel. The convo was a bit concerning... amateurish. I asked a couple clarifying questions about their TOS and several (including a couple mods) treated me like I was an idiot. So I quietly left.
Went to a well-known reviewer of these types of firms on youtube. He's getting ready to publish a review, I believe. Tried to give this feedback about what I saw on discord, but it disappeared pretty quickly. I don't blame him... I assume he's just trying to figure them out. My point being, I'm also struggling to get a read on MFFU.
I do know that automated strategies are not allowed. They did say that semi-automated is ok, as long as you are entering the trades manually. I assume ATM is ok, but they were so rude, I didn't hang around to ask.
Anyway, I'd be very curious to hear more about them. They have some nice features on paper.
