Thanks for the suggestion. I will take the concept of what you are suggesting under advisement. At first thought, doing what you suggest has several downside implications: - All of our users who use our free version would be adversely impacted with this water mark - Since our application is an open framework, there likely is a way from programmers to remove such water mark - One could easily use a live version of NinjaTrader and connect into a real-time demo account which to NinjaTrader is a real account Ray

Good point, I am not sure NT8 will fix the problem with vendors. If the vendor is looking for a way to get around certain truths, they will find a way.

This doesn't seem look like a fight for NinjaTrader, but vigilance of the community and regulatory bodies if there are misleading claims in advertising.

Really love the platform, There are many so called gurus try to be a snake salesman and trade on demo and claim that they trade real accounts, there are many innocent victims of this grand fake scheme. As NT has always stood for its clients needs I would like to request NT to have a water mark of " sim account " word in the charts when traded in demo, that way these false claims can be seen clearly. This is a simple request list. Appreciate your efforts for NT 8 release.

These TWO things WOULD BE AWESOME. The WATERMARK (great idea OptionZen ) and then changing most of the account number with ASTERISKS ***** in the Chart Trader window.


BUT ALSO >>> Now that we are talking about CHART TRADER.

I would love the ability to set Chart Trader BUTTONS >> but customized with their own targets!

In other words >>
One button is a buy button with a 10 tick target and then next to it a Sell Button with a 10 tick target.

So when the trader hits that button it instantly will place a market order trade >> with its own Unique ATM with a 10 tick target.

Then another set of buttons under that one with buy 15 and sell 15.

and it keeps going like that.


that way we have great scalping ability of being able to put the target very very close to where we want it with the first try.



Then it would be also very awesome >>> if we could hit a keyboard shortcut and it would Change the Chart Trader to put in a Buy Bid and Sell Ask - with the ATMs instead of Market orders.



This kind of Chart Trader would be very very good for scalpers -- and also regular traders. Longer traders just put in Longer targets.

Me too, I have more than 15 charts opened....I have a quad-core computer with a lot of ram....but I feel the NT 7 slow...

We need much more native indicators.....indicators....

Can you add the option to "INVERT" A CHART to trade Forex-Futures.

The 6J Japanese Contract is "INVERTED" from the USD / JPY Pair >>> It would be great if we could invert the 6J chart AND also the Chart Trader Buy/Sell Buttons so it looks exactly like the MT4 chart and be able to compare and USE whatever data we have on the MT4 Forex Pair


Basically making the Ninja 6J chart look like the MT4 Spot Forex pair chart.

There's a mirror bar type on the Ninja forums here, that does visually exactly what you are after, except perhaps the y-axis values are not what you are after (I'm not sure what/how they should be calculated). I do also personally recall using this funcionality in MT4, and, it can be, for example, interesting/helpful to view USDEUR.

I have not installed the bar type in the link I provided above, but, it's possible you may have a conflict with existing bar types in your NinjaTrader install, so, you'll need the aid of this PeriodTypeInfo indicator to determine where you may have a bar-slot # conflict, and edit the newly installed bar type so it can occupy a free slot. Here is that indicator:

To quickly invert a chart ( and flip back to normal view) would be really great. Sometimes it just helps get a different perspective.
