They are now offering volume profile capabilities (built in), and they are Easy Language compatible.
If you decide to have a trial at this moment, you need to download the version 8.5 beta 2 to work with volume profile.
Final version will be released in a couple of weeks.
Regards.

Hi...sorry somehow missed your post & hence the delay in posting back. I am running custom indicators for VP on Tradestation. Building composites are maybe not as simple like IRT & Market Delta. But then most of my stuff presently resides on Tradestation....& I am able to pull out 1m/5m/daily charts of ES & Bank & few others which serves my purpose in trying to learn how VP works.
Here's the layout I use on Tradestation for Volume Profile. The window on the left is a micro-composite view in the $ES templating the swing from 2/26/2013 thru 3/11/2013. The lines are drawn by hand and indicate the following: yellow = NVPOC, red = LVN, green = HVN. The software package is a 3rd party add-on that I purchased for around $200 from Don Disharoon who can be contacted at [email protected].
Just wanted to add to this thread that Harvey Rosenblum has recently started to develop some profiling tools for Tradestation. He is making a deliberate effort to improve and update them regularly. They are paid indicators but they are reliable...Rj
Volume profile and TPO charts are related but serve different purposes, so it makes sense to want both.
TradeStation does have some native volume profile capability built in, but it's fairly basic compared to dedicated tools. A few options worth looking into:
Don Disharoon's Volume Profile add-on -- this has come up in several threads here and gets solid feedback from TradeStation users. It gives you proper volume-at-price histograms that you can overlay on your charts.
Indicators by Harvey (IBH) Market Profile Combination Pack -- if you want TPO and volume profile together, this is one of the more complete solutions for TradeStation. It's been one of the highest-rated products on the TradeStation TradingApp Store since 2014.
TradeStation's built-in Volume Profile study -- worth experimenting with first before spending on third-party tools. It may cover what you need depending on how granular you want to get.
As for using volume profile alongside TPO -- many traders find value in running both. TPO shows you where time was spent (price acceptance), while volume profile shows you where actual volume transacted. When both agree on a level, that tends to be a stronger reference point. When they diverge, that can be interesting too.
There's also a solid thread here with more TradeStation-specific volume profile discussion:
I wanted to know your thoughts about the Volume Profile tool on TradeStation. Is it decent? Or would you categorize it as poor and inaccurate?
If you are a Volume Profile Trader, would you use it?
Thanks in advance guys.
If you end up finding TradeStation's native tools limiting, some traders run a secondary platform like Sierra Chart specifically for volume analysis while keeping TradeStation as their execution platform. Not ideal, but worth knowing about.
Have a good weekend!
