I am trying to figure out whats the chart setup FT71 has on his renko-zigzag chart for the ES, its the one he always uses for recaps. I would like to get a similar chart on ninjatrader but wonder if I would need to download or buy software for it, and would like to know how to set it correctly. I know he uses Investor/RT, but I don't have that. He has in the chart some indicator that marks the price levels for the swings, and also something that kind of looks like some vwap range in the background, very subtle blue cloud, but I don't know what it is. So if you could help me out figure this out I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

You might not be able to get the exact setup in ninjatrader but there are some tools available in the elite section that might be able to help you start.
In the BG he shows the developing value area based on volume as a channel. You can get this channel in Ninja vith the Gomi indicators and few other commercial tools. I use Rancho Dinero.
Renko is "cleaner" than range bars and FT71 uses them because he doesn't want to see the time factor, only price movement. The charts provide context but not an edge.
