Been trying to write up an indicator that keys off VAH and VAL. However, as most who've played with thinkscript know, making an indicator based on the standard volume profile study will result in repainting as the value area and POC moves. So I'm wondering if anyone has been able to write a developing volume profile in thinkscript?

I second this req.

I feel developing profiles, which don't repaint add IMMENSE value, for all intraday traders.

For existing profile traders, seeing the development of an auction market helps you find biases at prices in the market.

This indicator would rival VWAP and internals.

Since I am a believer in having multiple brokerage accounts, I found in TradeStation a good Market Profile tool. I think name is TAS. Did not realize until recently I actually know the trainer. He use to be a broker for a Chicago futures firm and after years of using this market profile tool left to expand TAS. Hope the attached image is clear. Wish there was a TOS equivalent.
