I prefer Journalytix not only because of the possibility to generate multiple trade statistics, but also because of the integrated fully configurable real time news feed and news calendar with alerting function.

Time for an update. How many are still using Journalytix? Would you still recommend this software?
I've been looking for something to help me automate tracking my trade performance and maybe also something which could be used to show/produce a track record for 2022.
I'm using Journalytix for about 2+ years now and it's still my favourite tool for journaling, statistics and news feed, so personally I'd recommend it.

Yes, I'm using it with NT8 via NT8 Bridge + NT Brokerage as well as for UProfit Trader, Earn2Trade and Leeloo, tracking eight different accounts.
It correctly tracks my gross and net performance intraday and EOD, and you can assign all kind of broker fees, commission, NFA fees, etc. as well as miscellaneous fees not only for each account but also for each instrument, e.g. for Minis and Micros. Performance tracking applies to open PnL AND closed trades as Journalytix tracks and shows them separately.
Regarding the real-time news, you can choose from different sources and filter your feed using keywords in order to fit to your needs.
Resetting the NT8 DB is no problem at all since all trades and parameters are submitted to their own DB once a trade is opened and closed.
In addition, they offer a very good online help guide and documentation.
Hope this helps.

Yes, but you have to assign them only once. After that all fees, commissions, etc. are calculated and deducted automatically from all trades relating to that account and / or instrument.
You can also apply them afterwards to all trades you did in the past or from a particular date if you like.

Fair point -- the answer here depends on how you're connecting through SierraChart, which trips a lot of people up with Journalytix.
Interactive Brokers: This one's straightforward. Jigsaw Trading added IB TWS integration in their Version 2.1 release (January 2020). As long as you're running TWS version 978.1g or above, realtime import should work. So if you're routing through IB, you should be in good shape.
SierraChart: This is where it gets more involved. Sierra Chart's own Direct Futures Order Routing does not natively connect to Journalytix -- there's no built-in bridge between SC's internal routing and Journalytix's data collection. It's a popular feature request on the SC support board, but it hasn't been implemented.
The workaround is to connect Journalytix to your underlying data feed independently:
SC + Rithmic feed -- If you're using a Rithmic-based broker (AMP, Optimus, etc.), Journalytix supports Rithmic as a data feed directly. You'd connect Journalytix to your Rithmic credentials separately from SierraChart.
SC + CQG feed -- Similar deal. Journalytix connects to CQG independently. There may be an extra $10/connection fee depending on your setup.
SC Direct Routing only -- No direct Journalytix integration available at this time.
Bottom line: check which data feed you're running underneath SierraChart. If it's Rithmic or CQG, you can connect Journalytix directly to that feed without needing SC to do anything special.
I'd recommend checking Journalytix's help docs for the exact connection steps for your specific feed -- they have walkthroughs for each one.
Curious if anyone else here has gone through this setup recently and can share their experience.
