Last two days classics and we are almost back to where it all started on the 4th. Gonna test that low ... Yesterday drive up was quite parabolic and almost resembled what transpired after those gap-up on the 27 and price action on the 28th which was quite insane in its relentlessness.
I really like what I see on MNQ.
Bounce from 50 SMA daily, quite similar to what happend on the 2 of September , after which it went 2000 points up.
On weekly we barely scratched 10 SMA .
So bull case is very much alive and we are entering seasonal home run November-DEcember with news that US government shutdown
may actually end. So one might be very brave to go bearish at this point in time.
Condition 1

Thoughts
wait for at least a little inventory balancing before you buy it
take profit, we have already seen a good move.
The standpoint should be: after move follows balancing
wouldn´t it make more sense that you open your own journal?
You could start with explaining your approach so that people can understand your thought process. Would be interesting to see and we do not mix different approaches in one journal.
Thats the thing , mon general ... Algotrading as we know is based on algorithms . In my own case proprietory.
Some people are happy to share them, some not as in some circles they are defined as "edge".
So once rules are defined and scripted, there is no thought process, no emotions, no nothing. Just hard coded logics the way founders envisioned it.
So my own journal would look like collection of taken trades, where is fun there ? I can see them any day any time.
I see actually more benefit of combining different top-view analytical approaches on the general state of the market and learning from each other in a journal maintained by disciplined teuton.
Would you agree ?
