short - against public oppinion. last contract was planed as a runner lower, i put sl at my entry price to lock into a profit and it was hit, what a pity. it could have been a nice trade
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Bro i know basic things about foot print and important location but still now dont know about how to read foot print in that locations . ex in support level bid side is heavy but price reverses to up . in that situation how to enter in long . pls explain some entry and exit techniques thanks
nq is undervalued today, the buying pressure is clear as the delta rises - sellers are smarter. that is why i am on the selling side.
opened with 4, added two more in a drawdow, after hitting the first target. 5 contracts already closed. holding a runner now. i expect a big bearish bar, release of selling emotions and selling volume gradation and where i will close it
exit in a fixed trademanagement. the selling emotion came afterwards. i am not used to hold the positions for so long (52 minutes, my god!!), that is why i decided to close it in an appropriate profit. the volatility is poor.
but the funny thing is that it happened exactly how i supposed. long selling bar with volume gradation. now it is time to move up :-)
when a bid size is heavy and it reverses it means the waiting buy limit side took all the sell market liquidity and (couple of (mili)seconds after or at the same time) the majority of sell limits is taken out from the depth of market so that a small buy markets can move the price higher to frighten the seller.
this is quite a common thing happening all the time and in this case, the buyer is smarter - but to say if it is wise to join him and to open long i cant say, because this is not enough information.
to read orderflow is like reading a book, u cannot say who is the murder from reading just one page or one sentence. you need to read it all.
if you want to chat about the timing entries more in depth, we can join in fb or skype ..
