I decided it was time to install NT7, the catalyst being the indi MACDColor_v4 by vegasfoster which I have downloaded and installed. It works well so a big thanks to vegasfoster. Setting up the templates and workspaces in NT7 is a bit of a pain but I am sure there are advantages - time will tell.
I am in awe of forums such as this one. There are so many generous people who give so freely of their time and expertise for the benefit of others. Thanks to Big Mike for starting and running this excellent site which offers so much to anyone interested in learning from others with a great deal more experience and knowledge. Thanks to all of those folk who contribute to this goldmine of information.
Does anyone know how to do the MACD histogram ( I realize the MACD is a little more leading than lagging crossovers)
How would i function it to go long the crossover 0 line to + and short to the negative - below 0
Ive been searching the forums and can't come up with anything
I was wanting to use the histogram in the strategy for going long and short and didn't know how. Does it have anything to do with the offset, and how would i do it in the strategy wizard setup.
I want to be able to go long when its positive and short when its negative below the 0 line
I was just curious if any updates have been made since 2010? I was hoping to have a the color change on the histogram when momentum begins to shift one way or the other.
The TTM Waves and Squeeze did this when I used to use TOS.
