Hey Big Mike, I am a proprietary trader trading mostly pairs. Really like your website and the chance to read / hear from others, not much to add yet myself, still trying to figure my way around
I've been trading for about 5 years now, have spent much too much money on various courses as well as what I like to call tuition (losing trades). I have yet to find the "magic bullet" and have come to the conclusion that there just isn't one! I have devised a very simple plan of buy low and sell high. Relatively tight stops if it doesn't go my way, and let her run if it does. Sounds like "duh", but it really is the key. I'm hoping to find support of fellow traders in this blog, share some great ideas, and hopefully, finally turn this into my full time career. Thanks for letting me join the group!
Hi Folks-
I'm new to this forum, but have traded equities for 30+ years presonally and professionally, and have traded futures on and off for some 15 years. Left a sell-side Wall St firm a little over a year ago and am now attempting "trading for a living" to support a family of four with kids in semi-private schools and a wife used to more!!!! This ain't gonna be easy!!!!

Harmonic patterns recognition software seems to keep me on top...so until something goes awry i just shortcut the education i've accumulated and trade signals from this indicator...doesn't seem right that it works so well and i don't rely on my wits like a true professional...so i keep learning until i find my personal methods...Harmonic patterns analysis requires a bit of patience and tedious measuring and persistence but until then am pleased with the free indicator...pretty accurate!! but i would prefer being able to trade from personal expertise...maybe in some amount of years.
