I just bought the 3 XXXXXXX sofwares en December 2012 and want to share my experience.
After 2 years of webinars and research to improve my setups by probing various indicators and
techniques (name it, I know it) I began Tape reading.
But tape reading with the DOM and the Time and sales (NinjaTrader) is not an easy task.
I developed a technique which seemed efficient on the Emini-ES , but only in the night
session. I used the NinjaTrader replay accelerated mode and had mostly winners ( 9 of 10)
The night session is very slow and I never tried to trade it live;
and in the day session I couldn’t follow, the game was to fast….
One day I investigated XXXXXXX and I immediately saw that this 3 softwares were unique and would allow me to follow and anticipate the day session movements in the short term.
I viewed some No BS trading free videos, observed my 3 softwares in action and began to understand something.
I am a Beginner and I mostly win my one tick on the SIM (live) trade ( Emini -ZB ).
I bought the software the 19 of December 2012 and I am very pleased to see that it is really possible to anticipate the order flow in the very short term. But that is enough to make a few ticks.
So I am going to improve my technique and when the time comes I shall trade live…
Hi all! I've been trading Forex for quite some time, any my favorite pairs are EURUSD, EURAUD, GBPUSD, GPYJPY and EURJPY. Am looking into gold now. Good to find a platform for discussion here!
I'm a professional poker player that is moving (back) into the world of trading. I traded stocks from 1998 to 2001. After that I moved into playing poker. Unfortunately, the government dropped Black Friday on us and left players with few options. Considering there are many of the same characteristics between traders and poker players (See my Linked in occupation as well as the title of this post). Next, the financial markets were my first love, I am happy to be returning. Thank you in advance for any help I receive.
Hi All. I'm Philippe, MD in FRANCE and I've also been in computer dev since 1981 (C++, ASM, etc ...). I'm a beginner in trading (6 months). I'm building my own linux trading box (trying to to be honnest). So I'm working late at nights on my new tool. I registered here to learn and find tricks and then improve my skills.
Noce forum .
which is better? ninjatrader or multichart, very hard for me to decide. not sure if I want to learn c# or easylanguage. Seems to me there's more learning materials and free programming strategies in ninjatrader. I read ninjatrader 8 will be faster.
Howdy, all. I'm one of those folks that dabbled in stocks a bit over the years; the more active I tried to be, the worse I seemed to do. After getting tired of getting beaten up I took a break for awhile.
About a year ago I realized I was nearing eligibility to retire from my full time job. I wanted to escape that rat race but needed something to fill the gap between retired pay and the bills that need to be paid. After considering a variety of options, it appeared that learning to trade the markets might be the most viable alternative. While I'm only able to pursue this effort part-time, I've learned enough to realize I actually know less than I thought. I'm doing my best to make a serious effort at this, but it's DEFINITELY not as easy as some make it seem.
I am looking forward to seeing what this forum has to offer. And chiming in when I think I have anything to offer. What I've seen in the forum so far tells me I'll be in sponge mode for a while, but at some point I hope to pass some knowledge to others.
Thanks, Big Mike, for establishing this forum. And thanks to all the other gurus out there sharing their wisdom ...
Although I joined Big Mike a while ago, I got busy with work and travel and could not get active on the site right away. I have been a stock and options trader for a while now, but did not do complex options.
I have recently learnt a lot about complex options and strangles which I love. I also now started trading futures. It took me a year to really understand how to trade futures. I am still not profitable every day - some days are better than others. I am learning to keep my losses low, put stops and even take small profits. This is not my nature as I do get greedy sometimes and want more.
But I am grateful to everyone that I have learnt from and those who have helped me and taken me under their wing.
I truly truly appreciate how much everyone is willing to help, with their own time. Lets get one thing straight, no one has that much free time to just give it away - but many do!!!
That is what makes it so fun to trade, getting to know new people.
