APEX Game Trade 7: 2:30 PM EST : +$545 around all accounts.

After Lunch break, i resume my game . It is amazing to see once i clearly set my plan, and it falls on my screen.

Clear visibility of downtrend, 8 cross 34, then k1,k2,k3 supporting me , with k4 trend wow.

took another trade, this time +$50 added. No rush.

Today MIN PROFIT GOAL reached yes $400 , now sitting at +$545 (after commission)

Here-after I shall be more careful, not to give up more than 30% from gained profit, that will be risk.

APEX Game Trade 8: 3:30 PM EST : +$630 around all accounts.

Today MIN Goal +$400 reached.
Profit Target: +2400 in 4 days as target. Great to finish first day.

well added $200 more added. So i have 2/19 , 2/20 , 2/23 => 3 more days, if i can perform little more than this , i can reach $3000 by 2/23 . again dont want to rush. thats the plan

See below 8 cross 34, and nice 200 ema , sure it will go great, but i dont want to give up anymore.

Chart: Rules followed

Account Dashboard

Recap:

Rules :

Strategy :
RULE#1. Follow 8 cross 34
RULE#2. Follow 9 cross 20 ( either above 1 or 2 is fine)
RULE#3. Follow 8 ema pullbacks, in direction trending day
RULE#4. Strictly avoid 8.30 AM , 9.30 to 9.45 am, 10 am, 2 PM EST for 2 minutes before and 2 minutes after.
RULE#5. Play Long and short, based on market direction.
RULE#6. CHOPS are unavoidable, so see if chops continuous for 3 losses, then stop for 1 or 2 hours, and come back.
RULE#7. Do not trade NQ. only MICROS in this game.
RULE#8. do not go below $1500 Drawdown, as we need atleast $1500 to win $3000 incase we lose big, we should be able to survive still. so it is important.
RULE#9: ALways start with 1 or 2 MNQ strictly, do not start more than that.
RULE#10: ALways lock $50 , $100, $150 immediately as you see them on board.

Supertradersam Trading Journal #13 of Feb 2026 | Date: Feb 19, 2026 | Result: +$50 | Total Feb Winning Days: 12 | Total Feb Losing Days:1 |

Sorry i am switching the trades in my PA (funded account) due to the reason it needs to be traded once a day.

Again today i am not aggressive trading, focused only on certain 8 ema cross 34 ema , and there were three superb occasion, we all can find this strategy work

Best setup , but minimal profit , i always recommend lock your profit quickly, it is ok to get less profit, and it is NOT ok to lose and get into RED from GREEN

Account Dashboard:

See you tomm for APEX, and tomorrow Leeloo competions also coming up.

Have a nice day

Believe me!!! it is SUPER TOUGH DAY

in PA , i lost $200 across all my accounts, so i stopped trading, basically today the structure or chop action spoiled the technicals. when i thought ema cross over, bullish, it opposite it went.

overall , PA is bad

but in my competition LEELOO today, i am at $1600 profit. guess what, i am not in top 10. :-)

I am still trying to do better, Competition ends at 4 PM EST

2nd DAY APEX Game Trade 1: 3:30 PM EST : +$330 around all accounts.

So yesterday i totally avoided, as i wanted to focus on PA

Apex Game Challenge:

Goal: $3000

Current: $1200
Remaining: $1800

Deadline : Feb 24

Today i juggled PA and APEX, and it is super tough, as i lost $200 in PA, but APEX i got +$300

Stay calm, TODAY IS SUPER CHOPPY, DEFINITELY A DAY NOT TO BE TRADING, AS I LOST $200 in all PA

Today juggled PA and APEX and it is super tough, lost 200 in PA but APEX got plus 300. Stay calm today is super choppy definitely a day not to be trading as lost 200 in all PA.

@supertradersam,

Here's what jumps out -- you already identified the problem yourself. Choppy day, shouldn't be trading, and you still traded PA. That self-awareness is real, but it's only worth something if you act on it next time.

Now let's talk math. You need $1,800 by Feb 24. That's $900/day across just 2 trading days (Friday and Monday). That kind of daily target creates serious pressure -- the kind that makes you do exactly what you did today, trading when conditions say don't.

The task-switching issue is bigger than you think. Research on cognitive load consistently shows that juggling multiple accounts simultaneously drops performance by 20-40%. You're not just splitting attention between PA and your Apex Trader Funding challenge -- you're splitting it across multiple instruments on top of that. That's a lot of decision fatigue burning through your edge before the market even gives you a setup.

A couple things worth considering:
  • Pick one battlefield. If the Apex challenge has a hard deadline, maybe PA takes a backseat for 2 days. Losing $200 in PA while trying to grind the challenge is working against yourself.
  • Narrow the instruments. You don't need multiple markets when you're under deadline pressure. Pick the one or two you read best right now and focus there.
  • Respect your own read. You called it choppy and said it wasn't a day to trade. Trust that instinct. Sitting out a choppy session and keeping your Apex gains intact is worth more than forcing trades.

The +$330 and +$300 Apex days show you can produce when conditions line up. The challenge now is discipline -- protecting those gains on days like today instead of giving them back.

Good luck with the deadline. Two days, focused execution.

Have a good weekend!

Thank you for @Fi analysis. Yes I am also having the plan not to rush to pass/reach goal for APEX Game, by Feb 24. The reason was the PA Fee is 40% cheaper if i reach by Feb 24. I think reaching this stage is super tough, and all i need another $1800 , i will see only A+ setup and try to make use the situation if it falls in my favor, i will take profit as it comes, and also will cut losses quickly. Lets see, if everything works, will reach , otherwise i will always wait for next best promotion discount for PA fee. anyway for just 40% off promo, i dont want to lose all my evals now. PA Fee now $75 , and after Feb 24, it is $145. and i am sure APEX will bring the discount again. but thinking about 20 APEX account i spent already $19.70 * 20 accounts, so i am seriously thinking not to rush, dont want to lose this journey with APEX. Thanks for your suggestion too.

For the game plan : to get $1800 , i have Monday and Tuesday . so $900 per day, and i am thinking to keep 5 sessions in a day, so $900 / 5 = around $175 i will aim, with MNQ , best 8 cross 34 and pullback setup. i should be able to easily knockout small profit , in multiple (5 different sessions) , for the day. and if 10 points of MNQ, for 5contracts, it will be easily $100 profit, so either i will look for such setup in much better move, i will go closer to the goal.

Thanks

@supertradersam,

Good call on not rushing.

Look at the math. You have $394 across 20 Apex Trader Funding accounts. The PA fee discount saves you $70 -- that is 17.8% of your total investment. You are risking $394 in evaluations to save $70. Lousy risk/reward.

Your MNQ plan -- 10 points on 5 contracts = $100 -- works on paper. But you actually need $175 per session, so closer to 17-18 points across 5 contracts. Hit that 5 times a day for 2 straight days with a deadline hanging over you? Your A+ filter turns into a quota real fast. Quotas lead to forced entries.

You said it yourself: never force when you are not comfortable. A deadline does the opposite.

What I would do:
  • Trade Monday and Tuesday normally -- no targets, just your 8/34 EMA pullback when the setup is clean
  • If you hit $1,800 along the way, grab the discount
  • If not, pay $145 next time Apex Trader Funding runs a promo. They do it all the time
  • Those 20 accounts are worth more than $70 in savings

You already know the move. No need to overthink it.

My immediate goal is to stay in the GAME.... not to lose more than 10% of existing profit.

At the end of the day, i could reach only $300 max gain.

I did try to push myself, then i gave up some profit, thats when i realized, not to rush. let the gain comes, dont want to focus to win/reach goal by tomorrow.

By pushing myself to reach profit by tomm, i may lose all.

@Fi I will wait for the profit as it comes, and follow my discipline strictly here. I want to take this winnings longer term, not for short-gain win.

See you tomorrow all, discipline only will make us survive here for long time.
