Thanks Sam028 I had the wrong symbol so your advice got me a step in the right direction but it still won't connect and I think its cuz I have MB Navigator.
Maybe this weekend I'll remove it and download MB Desktop or Desktop Pro and see if that's the connection problem.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
***** Update - I have been working with MC to help get Cumulative Delta tools built as a standard feature within their platform for several weeks now. At this point, they have built an initial capability to connect to DTN.IQ feed historical BID/ASK data in "beta" form (what NT7 does not have). They are going to incorporate this capability into MC 7 going forward which is great imo. If you want to start working with the MC CD tools available in "beta" at this time, I suggest you contact Jeff at MC for access ( jjenkins@MultiCharts.com ).
I have been super busy lately so sorry for such a long time since my last update!
Market order, reversal order and exit order correctly transmitted to broker software.
However, the $value of the position is not correctly displayed on the chart. For ES it dispalyed 0.50 cts instead of 30 dollars. Instrument is correctly configured.
I entered a position per market order, then I reversed it. There is no arrow for reversing the position and for exiting. Also no arrow for the next position that I opened.
It still feels a bit like work in progress. I have contacted support to find out what is wrong.
Thanks, I did. BigPointValue for ES is 50. But the P&L shown by the chart trader is always around a few cents only.
Also, do you know, how I can configure the size of the DOM? It hangs around on my screen, I would love to have some more columns and adapt it to the vertical size of my screen.
My orders on ZenFire (futures) are not getting filled, but they get filled on PFG (forex). I've contacted Support by Email since Live Chat is currently closed for the day.
Multicharts I really appreciate you checking with the engineers about my connection problem but as soon as I downloaded MB Trading's Desktop Pro, which automatically removes MB Trading's Navigator, I was able to get MBT data into Multicharts.
Ninjatrader requires the old Navigator to connect to MB Trading for data:
... and MB Trading doesn't even offer the Navigator anymore at all. In the most recent release notes they say " MBT Navigator Pro has been rebranded as MBT Desktop Pro".
So everyone who uses MB Trading for Ninjatrader data and wants to try Multicharts will have to download MB Trading's Desktop or Desktop Pro to connect to Multicharts and then remove Desktop and download the Navigator from Ninjatraders site at the above link in order to use Ninjatrader again. Just so ya know!
