Hello,
I'm interested in utilizing the ACD Method but I'm having trouble finding the indicator for MT4. Does anybody have it here or can point me in the right direction to find it? Thanking you in advance for any and all help.
Hello @Fat Tails do you still have this version of an OR I looked in ur downloads section but could only find the ones with target extensions of Percents of the opening range rather then tick values, thanks again for all the hard work you have done in creating all these indicators.
Just want to say thanks to everyone for this thread and ask a question...
If I understand correctly, A/C values for 45min OR is 8A/13C and 1min OR is 15A/20C
What is a good A/C Value for 5min OR?
Thank you...
I think its fairly subjective as its just building context. Read @Inletcap threads for how he uses it well, but not necessarily all the time. He uses same for A and C (8pts CL and 2pts ES iirc) which makes sense to me, varying it is double arbitrary imo.
i guess you can flex the ranges if atr changes significantly or the vola on the open changes permanently.....again, just for context.
i really like it - every time there has been an a_up/down in either CL or ES in the past months i have been watching jumping on the trend on a pullback at a decent level has invariably been a pain free trade (small drawdown)......even if the range doesnt extend the lod/hod normally gets tested and plenty of room to exit with profit.
The only problem i have is is if it hovers round the OR top/bottom +/-A ts for a few mins i dont know whether to count that as a completed a_down/up. Surpose it doesnt matter too much!
Thanks for the reply Dax, I will play around with it.
I usually do just CL, but started trading NQ with ACD 20min 7/4 AC values
NQ honors this ACD values way more than the CL, just from my limited experience scrolling back and forth.
This ACD is a great system!
I never saw this before until I stumbled into it here in FIO. Thanks
