Hello and thanks for having me!
I am an old newbie to trading. Been on the sidelines for ten years. Got bit a few times, never lost a lot, but I'm not going back in till I have a proven strategy coded in multicharts. I have some ideas, learning to code now. Chose Multicharts because of EasyLanguage. So I hope you don't mind if I follow along in yours and others footsteps as I learn.
Thanks!
I went to a lot of trouble to find a decent coach. He even said he does not work with just anybody and had to interview me!!!
Anyway he said he would pay me back 500 pounds but he had more excuses and said he had issues with his bank and I would have to wait until mid May.
I said ok and then got wind he was bad mouthing me so I said stuff it he can pay back now and he refused to ...so the moral is guys DO NOT EMPLOY KAM DHADWAR. DO NOT PAY FOR A TRADE ROOM WHERE THERE ARE NO TRADES.
Pay your money to someone worthy of your time and your money because this guy is a fraud, a cheat and a liar! I end my story here
I have struggled for years now with the emotional side of trading. About a year ago I was taught how to systematically create, document and test a strategy. I now have what I believe is a pretty solid trading strategy.
When starting out I had no idea what kind of a trader I was. ie: Daytrader, swing trader or invester (Long term).
You need to establish what style suits your personality. A proven strategy that works for one type of trader may not work for another. I guess the biggest threat to success is emotions. If you develop and test a strategy "Trust It" during your paper trading and eventually your live trading.
Hope this helps for a start
I am a newbie to futures. My experience is in FX, trading currency and so far it is all training and education. I studied with a dedicated home group for a couple of years where I used to live. Now I live out in the woods, basically. So I've been doing simulation trades on NinjaTrader 8. Working at my goal of a +$40,00.00 pnl before I start using hard cash. I'm counting on my prior job skills and training to get into automating my trading strategies. And I'm willing to do/use what works best for me; so, I am curious about forex futures.
Don't know much about futures but I am interested and pursuing a working knowledge before I make any decisions.
