Hi everyone...I've been lurking in the forum for awhile and finally decided to become member. I trade Futures, Forex and Nadex, primarily using price action and volume.
My trading style is to scalp the markets using the Depth of Market (DOM) / Price Ladder. Jigsaw provides a standalone system (daytradr) or as a Jigsaw DOM add-in to other Trading apps (e.g. Ninja). I suggest you take a look at Jigsaw's website https://www.jigsawtrading.com/ for more information.
As a new trader you need to take ownership of your full end to end trading process. From the broker you use, the tools you use (e.g. Charts/Indicators, Market Profile, Price Ladders / DOM etc), trading style (e.g. scalper vs swing etc), products and timezones. At the beginning it's best you study only one or two markets - to get to understand the ebb flow of the market and it's nuances throughout the day's trading.
For after hours trading in the US. The ES Globex trades differently to the ES Pit session. It's best you choose a product that trades nicely during the Eastern session and study that market before you switch to live trading. I don't trade the Eastern session but trade the UK Open for Eurex products (e.g. Eurostoxx).
Just take one step at a time and be patient with pulling your trading process together.
Guess it's time for a short introduction - I have been a member now for over a year, only lurking.
I live in The Netherlands and am currently working as a contractor (IT, mostly SAP). In the process of studying, practicing and writing a business plan to start full-time trading (somewhere next year).

Hi all,
I come from Italy but currently I am living in London
I am a futures trader since two years, I discover this passion during my studies in Finance.
It has been a long and tough journey and the best is yet to come
My Strategies are based on market and volume profile.
I found Future.io a great community to improve my knowledge and share my passion.
I have been trading stocks and forex for more than 10 years, but am relatively new to futures and options. I love trading for its challenges, and of course for the money and freedom too!
I'm eager to learn more about futures trading from this great community.
I am Stephan from Austria and try to learn trading since 3 months. I am mostly interested at trading the dax and hope to find people and information helping me to improve my trading.
Initially I'm the former USSRian, currently live and work in Dubai.
Got to Futures.io from some elitetrader link.
Got interest in trading in 2003 (this is when all that FOREX scams started to appear in my place when I heard about trading itself), met a couple traders in USA, but never traded live account as never felt to be on a right track. Had strong believe it was impossible to trade as a single trader, but this last year totally changed my mind and I rethought my attitude to trading. Now I'm sure it's possible, but subject to...
What I like about trading - you can rely only on yourself, you have to discover and remove your own limitations (fears. anxiety etc..), ability to work from any place on Earth (this part I like most).
Currently in the stage of educating myself.
This is my first introduction in internet life. Just felt futures.io to be a proper community to deal with.
Found a great materials in this forum and like local atmosphere.
