Well, how about for $99 per month you can get a squeeze indicator? No thanks I'll use the one here for free! Can you believe it who is paying over $1k per year for this Ksqueeze? I'm sure it's basically identical to what we got here with the updated Rsqueeze. OR MAYBE it really is THE game changer with the 'intelligent smoothing logic" that NO one is privy to!!??
Taken from the website's KSqueeze.com and squeezeindicatortrading.com How is the KSqueeze different from other squeeze indicators?
The brand new “KSqueeze” indicator takes a known concept and transforms the indicator performance through modern smoothing logic. Squeeze Indicator Trading built a brand new “squeeze” indicator from the ground up. We took advanced Automated Trading System price cycle analysis and combined that with hybrid “B Bands” and “Keltner Channel” style indicators.
Most of the typical Squeeze indicators you find free on many of the trading forums use old school B Bands, Keltner Channel, and lagging smoothing logic. Our inspiring KSqueeze indicator was developed with intelligent smoothing logic that is used in our proprietary Automated Trading Systems. No one in the trading industry has the extremely effective KSqueeze indicator logic that we utilize.
It is well known how effective the typical “Squeeze” indicator can perform in an experienced traders hands. The cutting edge KSqueeze indicator is a game changer in ANY traders hands!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Do anybody have a Gapless squeeze indicator for ninjatrader for RTH sessions? If not would the same logic behind say Gapless EMA, Gapless MACD etc be used to make a gapless squeeze?
I have a recurring problem with RSQUEEZEV2. By and large, it matches the ToS TTM_Squeeze indicator and is very effective for showing when trading is choppy (red dots along the zero line). Sometimes, however, RSQUEEZE doesn't quite match TTM_Squeeze. I am trying to set the parameters of RSQUEEZE to match TTM_Squeeze wherever possible.
The attached screenshots show a case where TTM_Squeeze paints red dots on an obvious area of chop. RSQUEEZE does not start indicating chop until eight bars later. Can anyone help me adjust the RSQUEEZE parameters so it picks up this sort of case earlier, as TTM_Squeeze does?
On your TOS chart you have the TTMS length set equal to 14, and on the NT version you have it (Moving Average Length) set equal to 20. Also note, the NT version allows you to adjust/set the momentum histogram length independently, in this case you have it set to 12 so the histograms will not match either. To get the NT version to match the TOS version, set both the Moving Average Length and the Momentum Period Length equal to 14.
No matter what instrument I apply this to, or what bar type or interval I select, I get nothing but blue dots on the squeeze line. The histogram bars are mainly what I'm after, so this isn't critical, but do you have any idea why this would occur?
You're running the Ninja 7 version of R Squeeze. If your using Ninja 8, you'll need to download the Ninja 8 version of R Squeeze, found in the indicators section. Good luck!
