To build discipline, I want to have an platform reminder/limiter that will not let me loose more that my daily loss limit and notify me when I hit my target.
I purchased the pure price pattern indicator and successfully installed it, however, the data is not update and there is nothing, absolutely nothing in my chart.
Can anyone who has the indicator assist me, because I have sent infinite number of messages to support without any acknowledgment or help.
I'm new to posting on this thread and just wanted to say hi!
I'm in Portland, OR and am currently trading the Emini S&P on sim, hoping to cross over to live trading soon with the micros using Ninjatrader and Jigsaw. I try to use volume profile and order flow to understand how the market moves and to find low(ish) risk entry points.
I'll try to post thoughts on the appropriate threads as I get going.
I am a beginner future trader from South California. But I have several years of experience trading stocks and options on stocks. I am doing sim and live trading of ES, NQ and CL.
I am using the TradeStation 9.5 platform for futures. I am familiar with EasyLanguage (EL) programming and I'm creating some indicators and trading strategies.
I hope to learn some useful strategies from the Community and share my experience.
Im so glad to be here. I first started trading forex and still on demo. Like many also some ups and downs.
I always try to build a system first and then backtest it to see if its profitable. Then I try to trade and stick by the rules.
Just from 3 months now I began with stocks and options trading. My biggest hurdle is moneymanagement and positionsizing, especially with stocks and options trading.
I also try to refine my timing for entries, keeping tabs with fundamentals, company research and how to match that with technicals. Trying to find out what can give a better edge. I hope to share my knowledge and learn also from like minded individuals. Hard work and team effort always pays off.
