Found this this morning. NT support says they can't reproduce it. Happens for me every time. You have to look at the chart close to confirm you are actually on the instrument you think you are because for me, with some instruments, at first glance it looks like a good chart..... but upon closer inspection it is all messed up...
Easiest to explain in a quick video...Please take a look, try and reproduce and post your findings in this thread if you would be so kind....
...but briefly linked Market Analyzer and chart ...set an Alert on the chart on some instrument ....click another instrument in MA.... chart tells you Alert will be removed or transferred to the other instrument (which makes zero sense) so I hit the Cancel button. Then duplicate the chart in a new tab and the chart that comes up is some kind of a combination of the duplicated chart and the instrument click on in the linked Market Analyzer......
@NinjaTrader can anyone reproduce this? (Edit: they just confirmed they CAN reproduce this...)

Hi Ron, you are pushing NT a lot harder than I am. I am just a lowly chart trader. Are you going to attend Rays AMA webinar thru FIO???? I think you should. Ray probably knows of your issues. Maybe you can ask for a private conversation with him. It seems that your inputs are very valuable and they need to assign someone to you.
When downloading historical data through tools --> historical data charts refuse to load. 8.0.6.1. Reported problem previously but as usual isn't resolved although I believe NinjaTrader said they had. I appreciate there will be bugs in new software but this is just basic functionality and NinjaTrader 8 is no longer new. I can see why NinjaTrader has a no refund policy.

Try this please....
Disconnect from data
repair DB Tools/Database Mangement/at bottom
close NT8
Delete _Workspaces.xml file in Doc/Ninjatrader 8/workspaces
remove any workspaces you have in doc/NinjaTrader 8/workspaces to a safe place
start NT8
Now try to Download data
Chances are high your current workspace(s) has gone bad.... You most likely will have to rebuild any workspaces you want and it's best to delete the old ones and start fresh.
