Wow, that post was nearly 30 months ago when I was still looking my holy grail setup! Am not using the full suite of Better Indicators now as with price action and my Jigsaw tools there are more than enough signals to work on. I found the multi-timeframe with better indicators to be overkill for me, so dropped all but the ProAm indicator which does work Ok.
Down now to a single 2000 tick ES chart with Jigsaw to support price action setups. Just one 21EMA on the chart plus the Better ProAm as noted. Also have the Prem and NYSE Tick for 5% support, but Tick in particular appears to be manipulated by the big guys most of the time so need to be careful. Have a 5 minute ES to the side as use Al Brooks price action concepts and watch the 5 minute to imagine what Al is saying in his trading room.
Never bothered with Crude Oil and attach a snapshot of yesterday's 5 min chart (note I am 12 hours ahead) with all the Better Indicators inserted. Not sure what good this is, but no point me getting into anymore as you really need a BI full-suite user to help out. Maybe a tick chart would be more useful?
I used all the indicators for a couple of years but couldn't get profitable with them alone. I still use the pro-am and momentum but more for confirmation than actual setups. They are really nice though and do provide useful information, just couldn't figure out how to apply them real time.
i got the indicators a few years ago. the better volume is the best of the 3. it is good at i.d. a false brake out by small traders. i still use it. the guy that runs this is a good trader. going through all his stuff will not be a waste of time but you can do that for free. as for the rest of the indicators or his trading style... you would need to spend years working with it to master it... i have not found any other trader that has done that. so i would buy the better volume and go through all his works. it will help ... some...
You seem to be an avid user of the three emini-watch indicators and was wondering, a few years after your last post, if (1) are you still using these indicators, (2) if so, how do you like the know all-in chart, multi-time frame update?
Lastly, I watched a few of Barry's videos and was wondering if he provides detailed entry and exit trade set-ups using these indicators? Couldn't find any details in his website and I have yet to hear back from him (I emailed him last week, no reply yet).
I do still use the emini-watch indicators. I use the 'old' version' not the multi-timeframe versions that he charges $100 a month for now. I've never used the new version.
Barry does provide entry/exit setups in a general sense (e.g., all three timeframes are lined up, professional bar, etc etc) but he doesn't provide any specific setups regularly other than occasionally in his update videos.
I may simply bite the bullet and pay the $100 entry fee as a 1-month look/see to make a determination if this is something I can use or incorporate into my trading (which is mostly mechanical). The overall concept seems sound to me and the fact that his BetterXTrend indicator helped with my strategy performance results is a big plus to me. And if that's the case, you will probably hear a lot more from me asking a few more dumb questions. ;-)
BTW, other that what you have already posted in the past with regard to Barry's indicators, do you have any further insights that you can add with regard to your experience in using these indicators? Thanks again.
Just to update, I have decided to forego using these so-called 'better' indicators from Emini-Watch. After emailing Barry, the creator of these indicators, numerous times, asking some very basic questions with regard to trade performance and statistical expectations from these indicators as well as a few detailed questions regarding trade entry locations, Barry simply chose to ignore my emails and has not responded. He did only respond to my first inquiry (after second and third requests) and his response prompted me to ask more detailed, probing questions, which has been, as of this day, been totally ignored.
And that's that. Am moving on to good and better things.
You want indicators to have performance? I dont know this vendor or the indicator he/she offers, but you sure you have reasonable expectations? I never heard of an indicator that has performance. Indicators "indicate", they are not performance driven.

Actually, this vendor 'recommends' trade set-ups using the three indicators he has up for rent. His stated target for these set-ups is 4 points on the ES. I didn't think it would be unreasonable for me to ask what kind of win-rate to expect OR what win-rate the owner is getting following these set-ups, that reaches the 4-point targets.
For me indicators are always a small part of a larger set up and not a trigger for trading. Rather than having fixed targets on indicators, traders should understand the context and volatility. But again, I don't know this specific one.
