Does anyone know of a website that gives the status of the connection of either the data feed or brokerage status of Rithmic.
As of right now I can get Rithmic data but when I go to make a trade through MultiCharts to my broker Rithmic, I get an error:
"Instrument: YMU6; Order: Buy Market 1; Status: Rejected; Reason: The order cannot be placed because the broker is trying to establish connection to its servers."
As I am new to MultiCharts, does anyone know if this problem is with Rithmic not connected to the exchange, and if so where could I find a website that could confirm this issue.

Thanks for replying. I am receiving data stream on MultiCharts on a Rithmic chart and as well on R-Trader. For some reason I can not close my position through MultiCharts. When I try I get that error message as listed above. Thankfully its in a Paper Trading account as I am current doing testing on automated strategies.
I am just trying to figure out why I am getting this error message in MultiCharts and if its an issue with Rithmic's connection to CBOT or an issue with MultiCharts to Rithmic and how I can avoid this type of error in the future.
Not too sure what you mean by "Do you connect Rithmic right to the exchange?". Do you mean if I use R-Trader or is their another way to get Rithmic data.
I meant if you have connected YM to the right exchange, namely CBOT. However, if you are receiving data then all is connected well. How are you receiving demo on R Trader and MC at the same time? As far as I know demos from Rithmic could only be extended to one machine. Something if off in the configuration, that is my opinion, but I can be wrong because I did not see this error before on a demo. Try shutting off the demo on Rithmic R Trader while trying to place the order again.

Here's the key thing that'll save you a lot of headaches going forward -- Rithmic uses separate connections for market data and order routing. You can be getting perfectly clean data while the trading side is completely down. That's exactly what you're seeing here.
Unfortunately, Rithmic doesn't have a dedicated real-time status page like you'd expect from most tech companies in 2024. Your best options for checking status:
Rithmic's news page at rithmic.com/news -- they post system advisories and maintenance windows there
Your broker's support channel -- they usually know about Rithmic outages before anyone else
NexusFi forums -- traders here tend to report outages in real-time, so a quick search is often the fastest confirmation
Now for that specific error -- a couple things to check:
1. Multiple logins. If you're running R Trader Pro and MultiCharts on the same demo credentials at the same time, Rithmic will block one of them. Demo accounts typically only allow one simultaneous connection.
2. Test in R Trader Pro first. Download it if you haven't -- it connects directly to Rithmic without MultiCharts in the middle. If you can place an order there, the issue is on the MultiCharts side. If you can't, it's Rithmic or your broker.
3. Check with your broker. They can confirm whether order routing is actually down on their end or if it's account-specific.
That YM contract (CBOT) sometimes has routing quirks depending on which gateway you're connected to. Make sure your MultiCharts connection is pointed at the right Rithmic server for your region.
