Which option do most of you have? Are the trading hours limited with the Lite when trading MES futures? Is there a cost difference or what. I don't see anything that implies there is a cost for Pro?

Thanks

Personally using tws with the c++ api.

Not yet tempted by new tools yet so I'll be interested in what others say.

For futures trading and charting I would not use IB at all. Their DOM and platform is IMO not good for it.
I use IB for buying stock and options, but for charting I would use many others, like NT8 or Tradingview.
As a futures broker, I am happy with Edge Clear, working with Rithmic.

Good luck
Deetee

Hello Deetee,
But you can chart with NT8 using IB data or connection. Do you have any experience with that ?
What sort of issues do you have with IB DOM ?
Cheers,
Abdul Hakeem

Yeah, I chart with NT8 with IB data connection.
For stocks I entry in IB.
For futures I enter in Rithmic.
Maybe it is just a preference, but I find the charting in IB not smooth at all...

IB DOM, compared to Rithmic Pro, is so outdated. IB is very basic. Rithmic Pro (but also NT8) has more features

"Yeah, I chart with NT8 with IB data connection."

Can you share you experience with this setup....charting in NT8 with IB data. Especially Level 2 data.
Cheers

IB data I use for stocks using an API. Data is ok for this purpose.

For CME data I actually use Rithmic...
